I'm 48yo and grew up eating these hotdogs. My wife turned her nose up at them when we started dating but soon grew to crave them and has for 25 years now. Hotdogs and BBQ are two foods that I think most people tend to prefer the style they grew up with and have their entrenched favorites. If you don't like them, that's fine, but eat them a couple of times and you will probably change your mind as my wife did.
It's a hot dog place, not fine dining but exactly what I expected. I gave it 5 stars because it is an excellent example of what it is - a hot dog place. Ms. Gothard (the owner) asked after me and was happy I'd stopped by from Opelik on my ride this afternoon. We talked about bikes for a minute. It not much to look at, but if your looking doe a hometown staple that's been around a few decades for a reason, this is the place. The food was delicious and service is the same as if you were at your grandma's house. Love and attention.
