I'm not in phenix city much, but i was coming from auburn and wanted some bbq so i stopped by. Got chipped sandwiches and stew. Both were really good. The chipped meat was good quality, not paste like you'll get from other places. Good atmosphere too. Give it a try.

Been here several times. Overall good experiences. Sometimes the food is over cooked, but that's better than under. Prices are competitive. They have delicious sauces - I like their sweet sauce, tastes great with their fingers and half chickens. Stew & potato salad is great as well.

Parking: On-site parking, but can be busy during lunch hours.

Fantastic, it's nice to see and taste the legacy of Mr Comer's bbq being prepared to such high standards. Our family has been customers since the start of business many moons ago. As a young lad I would get the 2$ plate way back in the 60's , back then all that was served was meat sauce bread , and a coke bottle out of the self serve soda pop machine. The original sauce was hot hot ? (just like today) but now you request it as most people may not appreciate it...
