I've never had a negative experience at Culver's until today. I ordered a SINGLE deluxe burger. I drove up to the window, paid and they started to hand me a DOUBLE. I told them I ordered a single. The employee asked if I would "just take the double." I told her NO and that I want what I ordered. So, she refunded the double and charged me for the single. No big deal! All is good as far as I'm concerned. Then she asked me "Do you want to keep the double anyway since we're just going to throw it away?"
I told her "sure, why not, I can give it to my husband". Then I told her "thank you".
So, I pull up to wait for my CORRECT order. An employee walks out (without my order) and tells me that the manager wants me to give the double back unless I wanted to pay for it. They were not going to give me MY order THAT I PAID FOR unless I gave them the double back! I could not believe what was taking place! The manager did not even have the guts to come out and face me, but sent out an employee. The employee was really nice and apologetic, but the management is horrible. I asked the employee why the manager wouldn't come out and face me. She said the manager made her do it even though she felt uncomfortable. The employee appeared to be very uncomfortable in this situation. She offered me a free custard for the inconvenience. I laughed out loud, literally! How are you going to ask for a burger back that you're going to throw away in the trash and then offer a free custard?! It was an awkward and embarrassing situation on their part. VERY poor customer service from the management and owner! I ended up calling back to get the manager's name and they refused to tell me. They said they were not allowed to tell me. What a coward! Refused to face me and refused to give me their name. Terrible management if you ask me! Will never give them my money again! If you want my opinion, AVOID CULVER'S IN PHENIX CITY!

Food might be ok, but don’t ever apply to work here. My son spent 2 years at this place with no raise everrrrr with the biggest loyalty to this company; he never called out. All the employees and district manager loved him. He gave a 2 weeks notice once he found a better paying job and they completely took him off the schedule.That alone shows you how salty and mad they were to lose such a great worker. I thought that was very unprofessional of a company of this statue, but not suprised.
