Wide variety of food. Excellant food. Friendly customer service. My only complaint is not all of the employees serving the food wears mask. The ribs, turkey wings and blackeyed peas are my fav
We found this restaurant on our GPS with good ratings from TripAdvisor. We both enjoyed our meals.. Even though we were there well before noon, several items were already gone. I chose the pork chop and my husband also asked for one; however he was told there were no more. The selection of fried chicken was also limited. My husband decided to have the hamburger steak and thought it was very good. I especially enjoyed the pork chop and rutabagas, but I did not care for the turnip greens.and the cornbread muffin was heavy and very greasy.
Great people Great food..Try the oxtails..DELICIOUS
Always great homecooking like my Grandmas!
Got there about 20 minutes before closing and they couldn't have been nicer. They were out of a good many items which was expected, but we tried the smothered pork chops and they were great! Plan to go back and get there before closing so we can try some of the other things.
When I first got to Alabama I fell in love with ED's now that we are moving to New York, I want my last dinner to be Ed's.the food is great and the staff are awesome.shout out to the lady with pretty eyes and the other one who told me her experience in New York.
I had this yesterday & this is the first time that I’ve been disappointed in the food. My first time eating from the Ladonia location, food tasted old it was around 3-4pm next time I’ll drive to the one off Crawford Road, food is always on point there.
Good country cooked food friendly server and reasonable prices
I love this family type atmosphere restaurant the staff is always happy, informative and helpful I love their gumbo, catfish, and my all-time favorite their pig feet they are to die for! The sweet tea makes you want to smack your moma!

We decided to go get some good country cooking bbq.. everything was excellent because everyone was completely happy.. the food was served hot and a big variety of great dishes.. thanks ed..
All of the food here is real good, but the fried pork chops, squash, and rutabagas are awesome! Highly recommend this place.
Good southern comfort food! My husband and I both recommend the turkey wings and dressing. It's our absolute favorite go to dish
Like all country kitchens in the South, this is cafeteria style. Rotating menu with Southern fare staples. Huge portions. Not too salty, like at many other places. Crowded, as one would expect; they serve a lot of people. Fried chicken was so good, we took some to go. Every dish was incredible. The owner, Ed, was there and made a point of talking to us because he could see we were first timers. Great experience!
Stopped in twice while visiting base. Food is very good and they have a variety of options. Always busy but the staff is quick and helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you are visiting Ft Benning.
