It was my first time eating here,the first red flag should have been Soo many people in a drive thru line at a buffet lol..I asked someone in drive thru,was the chicken good before I went in and they said yes but I didn't know they were referring to the wings at the time,which isn't offered on the buffet.I went in and noticed the buffet only had 2 meat choices, regular fried chicken and spicy fried chicken and the rest of the items on the buffet were basic sides,Mac and cheese,rice, dressing,hard muffins,salad,gravy and peach cobbler.I had a weed head with me and they didn't like anything they ate lol..This buffet is really for someone with little kids,who doesn't want to cook tonight or for someone who can't spend more than $12 bucks...I can't judge their wings because I didn't have any but the buffet ain't it..I did enjoy seeing Soo many brothers and sisters working together though,that's it

Save your time and money.....2 hours before closing and said nothing fresh was being put up. Family of 6 and you might as well say kids got full off of imitation bacon pieces. Highly disappointed and definitely won't be back.

I'm going to show you how fast is our good. Food is good. All of it I tasted with seasoned well. If you like that good old southern cooking you need to get on down here and get you some of this.
The chicken and porkchops was soon overcooked it was disgustingly bad. It looked like last weeks food. The ranch tasted sour. The mashed potatoes was OK. I hit my husband over the head with thier rolls for bringing me here. This could be a really nice little buffet if the cooks cared about the what they put out. Gordon Ramsey they need your help

This used to be a fantastic place to eat. Employees are clean and nice . The owners can't possibly feel good about the wreckage they serve. They now have terrible food and skimp on everything from no croutons and seeds and things like cooking beans and peas completely. The signature peach cobbler is awful. Go back to the way things were or change the name to be less deceptive. You give Hartz franchise a bad name.

Love the buffet, but noticed that the tables was not clean and the floor was filthy. Otherwise, It was well worth it.
Once again, I had passed Hartz many times in Phenix City. Finally I had spare time to seat down and eat, rather than pick up and go. Great value for money. The buffet had a very generous selection. Everything was hot, fresh and very tasty. Enjoyed it immensely and will definitely return.

Hartz is a modest buffet, they have pretty basic food items, but good food items. I absolutely love the spicy chicken, fried okra, yeast rolls and peach cobbler. I don't usually get the buffet, but rather individual chicken pieces through the drive through. Their chicken is one of my all time favorites.
