The reason for 1 star is because the menu options for whole catfish had 2 prices. I assumed sm and lg. I asked for 2 lg whole catfish with slaw and fries. I ordered Mahi blackened with salad and hush puppies. Apparently, they only have 1 size and you get 2 whole catfish for $18, which in my opinion, was not a fair price compared to competitors. One plate of fish was thrown in the trash, as it's taste was strong and fishy. The fries side was very small. The slaw was fair. As for Mahi plate, I got the hush puppies as a side to share. It came with 5, no larger than a marshmallow. Very disappointing. For almost $70, this was a huge disappointment. We heard the ad on the radio and expected much better.

Great place for local seafood. Shrimp were very large. Service was outstanding too. Stop and check it out if you are in the area.

Great food for a reasonable price. Nothing is pre-made nor microwaved. They cut the vegetables, season the fish, bread the chicken and grill the steak right behind the counter. It's made to order and it tastes great!

Normally would come here just for fresh oysters; saw some good reviews on fb so decided to actually try their cooked food. Gumbo tasted like tomato sauce; shrimp chowder was shrimps & veggies; shrimp poboy- shrimps, lettuce & tomatoes(min effort); .. idk sometimes you really have to go by the low rating reviews ; hopefully they'll improve their recipes

I think that if they serve a burger at least make it fresh. I paid to much for a frozen patty. The catfish looked good and was good but I didn’t order that.

I went in and bought fish from fresh market, I asked for catfish filet and it didn’t look like catfish, I spoke with the girl serving me and another gentleman they assured me it was catfish filet. IT WAS NOT! It is Swai. I called back to speak with someone about it , the girl that answered the phone said she would have to pass my number to the manager. No one called me back. I also bought red snapper filets. None of the fish was fresh in fact it even smelled bad. Spent nearly $45 for 5 filets . Very disappointing! Be aware!

Delicious! I had the shrimp boil and added crab. So good. Fried okra and hush puppies were perfect. For dessert, the beignets. Best ones I've had.

We had the Blackened Snapper Platter & Fried Shrimp Platter. Both were outstanding. Simply put, it is the best seafood restaurant in Columbus/Phenix City area. Tastes like you're on the wharf!

Loved the food and the atmosphere we will make this a tradition to visit when we are visit our son in the military
