The waiter I had missed his first day as I waited on him to serve me. He ended up being in jail for domestic violence for the 3rd time and when I went he smelled like smelled of alcohol very strongly. When I heard he was good person you had to get service with him when he was hired I was told he waited before at another place and must go. I didn’t know the information of James Aaron Ballard until after all this. I feel endangered to ever go back here you and can’t believe they would hire such a person like this makes me wonder about the other employees

What’s not to love about this place. The food was amazing, that Mac and Cheese, the fried chicken, collard greens, black eyed peas. I could go on and on. Plus the two ladies were so friendly and accommodating and the little dudes behind the counter to cute.

The food was undescribable delicious the people are extremely nice. I would recommend anyone in the Muskogee County area to try them out. I drive all the way from Kentucky to visit my family and I want to eat there every time I come to the Columbus and Phoenix city Alabama area.

I ordered 4 meals. I plan to return. My only mishap is that I ordered 2 plates with chicken Breast and was given wings instead ( I don't eat wings) My fault for not checking my order before leaving, either way I would not have had time to allow them to fix the issue. Although I called in my order, it wasn't prepared until I arrived meaning I had to wait for it. The hotdogs & fries were good.
I will wait whatever the wait time is to eat here. The food is real Soul Food and never disappoints! Great people! Great food! Just take my money because it’s worth it.
I love eating here, my favorite soul food spot.. Wednesdays and Fridays, they have fried cornbread ? I love fried cornbread

I am happy as I write about my experience here. I haven't been over actually in a while I used to come more regularly but I've been cheating myself by not coming as regularly I used to. As you can see I have catfish fillets,collard greens, and macaroni and cheese and trust me I am very well pleased! If you are over here In Phenix City Alabama please with emphasis do yourself a favor and support these ladies out of 10 stars I give them 20.
