Small town BBQ place. I had the sliced pork and it was tasty and tender.

We always eat here and never have any issues but today when I asked for a to go box I was told they aren’t supposed to even though it’s never been a problem in the past. Just seems weird I’m not supposed to be able to take the food I paid for to go just because I dined in? Otherwise it was fine.

Wife, daughter and I stopped by for lunch while out thift shopping. Second time to eat here. Wife had Brunswick stew. Daughter had pulled pork sandwich, she liked the sweet and mustard sauces mixed together, my favorite as well. I had the all meat rib plate, 4 bones and 3 slices of bread, plus a chili dog all the way. It was all delicious. I do not eat bread.

I used to go here a lot until recently - I got bad chicken that put me in the bathroom all day. They have great sauces and the BBQ is usually pretty good. The stew is my biggest complaint - it's just not good. Beans are great though and so is the potato salad. Not my go-to spot anymore, every meal seems to be worse than the last.

Parking: Parking is atrocious here. Good luck.

Went there again today to get a baked potato and just like the last time it was undercooked so I had to drive all the way from my house which is in Smiths station for them to replace my undercooked potato And of course it was undercooked also

Ordered Togo. 5 chopped and brisket. Brisket was great, I would’ve preferred without any sauce. But it was cooked perfect. Got some stew also. Everything was great. Service was timely, not super quick, but that’s ok. I give the cashier credit. I gave her a 20.00 and 2 fives, and said ‘so I can too you’ and she put the entire 5.00 bill in the tip jar. Lolololol

I ordered a half chicken but what I got could only be described as pigeon road kill. It was so dry and all wrinkled up like raisins and tasted like cardboard, and not that good cardboard you get from U-Haul …more like that cardboard you get from Amazon. I asked for Brunswick stew and got baked beans. I took the beans back and after tasting the scorching McDonald’s coffee hot stew, I should have rethought the previous exchange. It was a total dining disaster. Not only will I not ever go back, I will roll up my windows as I drive by. You know…just in case one of those pigeons get loose.

I placed an order today for delivery
The doordash person called me and told me there were no delivery bags because they were out of bags and she would have to delivery to me with out a secure bag or sack. Totally, nasty.
