All the flavor was in the sauce. Big helpings. Probably best described as Midwestern bbq. Pork bbq meat only.

The staff was friendly but the food sucked! The bbq meat was bland with not one lick of seasoning. The ribs had more bone than meat and the coleslaw tasted like mustard and vinegar. Definitely not worth the money spent.

Fast service customer friendly staff and it's like a a customer going to grandmas house ...they already know an individual usual preference . Very much a southern experience.

love this place and the staff...great hometown BBQ..
I personally love the old timer, bite size pork plate with potato salad, Brunswick stew.Or sometimes I just have to have a chipped sandwich with baked beans and slaw.Of course the tea is always good.

Very good flavor! I prefer this Smokey Pig to the original. Grab a plate with some stew or some ribs. Can't go wrong.Vegetarian options: There is *nothing* vegetarian here.Parking: Plenty of spots located around the building

It’s ok but it’s really really on the very small size. We used to go there all of the time. One key reason we stopped going there was because they sauced up the BBQ themselves. You couldn’t sauce the BBQ at your own table. They sauced up the meat in a rather strong mustard themed sauce. It tended to be a bit strong for our tastes so we decided to start with looking at other BBQ places nearby. We settled on Hog Rock BBQ. They had a much more interesting robust menu selection. Plus they had bottles of mild and spicy hot sauce at your table. You could flavor your own meal just the way you liked it. Plus it’s almost three times as big as Smoky Pig…

Our first time here. Ample parking in front and on the side. Friendly staff. Barbecue is fresh and served in various weight classes. Ribs and chopped pork is good. Slaw was more liquid than cabbage. Will return and try other sides.
