okay so first let’s talk about the prices for the half cooked meals there serving starting with the macaroni it has a awful taste as you chew into it after you swallow and burp it tastes like the lining of your stomach after throwing up the macaroni smelled sour, the cabbage was horrible!!!! couldn’t swallow it also taste like peppers, the steak and gravy meat was definitely uncooked the meat was pink inside it tasted grilled the yams was hard they wasn’t cooked throw the sweet potato pie haddd wayyyyy too much cinnamon couldn’t swallow wasn’t enough sugar overall we spent a little over 65 for this and was not satisfied 0/10 WOULDNT RECOMMEND!! Too no ONE ! keep yo money and go else where don’t stop here !!!

Absolutely delicious!! Nothing compares!! Let's not even talk about that cabbage!! If you haven't tried it you really need to try it!!

Phenomenal!!!
True southern cooking with great seasoning and flavor. My husband and I both got vegetable plates, our daughter got hamburger steak. Portions were large & we’ve got left overs for tonight!
We were driving through on our way back home from our Atlanta trip and were so glad we gave them a try!
It’s served via buffet line with staff serving your food which we loved! So much variety and it all looked and smelled amazing.
Staff was friendly and spoke the moment we entered the door. Service was quick!
Super clean! I love supporting small businesses like these. They are doing so much right! ???

Y’all if you are looking for good SOUL FOOD! Look no further! If I can give a rating of 100/100 I would. My husband and I were traveling through to go back home to Dothan AL. We decided to stop and try this place. The staff was soooo welcoming! The Owner came out to say hello! I order the oxtails that came with rice and two sides( cabbage & mac&cheese) w/corn bread ??whewww the meat was sooooo tender seasoned perfectly (non spicy which I like). My husband had fried chicken (cooked to order) with cabbage, stuffing & potato salad. I had to taste a corner of the potato salad! I heard nothing from my husband until he was finished eating all of his food. He had no complaints he said the food was great and the fried chicken was seasoned underneath the skin! I can’t make this up. I HAVE NEVER LEFT A REVIEW FOR ANY RESTAURANT BEFORE. But Southern Sista deserved this review! If you don’t believe me go try it for yourself! Oh yeah?…& We made it through the door at 4:58p & the food was fresh!!

Ordered the half chicken, which came with white gravy over rice. Called it in, service was friendly, but food was a little expensive considering. It tasted okay but didn't sit well and had issues later in the day. Also, next door is a shop that plays extremely loud music with total disregard to the public.

I had it for the first time today and it was horrible. I paid 18 dollars for nothing. The okra wasn't cooked and the Mac and cheese was nasty. Green beans from a can and cold. Fried chicken was pink not fully cooked. The owner need to hire a better cook and not someone who rushes the food. Will not spend money there again.

Mrs. Kim was super kind and knowledgeable about everything. I actually called before store hours to inquire about catering and she answered the phone. She made us feel right at home. Thank you soooo, much for your southern hospitality. We will see you soon!!!!

Happen to see this place as I was driving by, went in & the aroma was heavenly. I was promptly greeted & given a rundown of the menu. The staff & food was A-1!!!
