I don’t even know where to begin with this absolute disaster of a McDonald’s experience, but I guess I’ll start with the fact that I genuinely wish I had just eaten a napkin instead. At least that would’ve been honest about what it was offering. I went in expecting the bare minimum, which, let’s be real, is already setting the bar extremely low, and somehow McDonald’s still managed to dig a tunnel straight under it.

First of all, the food was basically raw. Not undercooked in a quirky, oops-they-rushed way, but RAW raw. The burger patty looked like it had been briefly introduced to heat and then immediately pulled away as if the grill was just a suggestion. Biting into it felt like a trust exercise gone horribly wrong. I spent the first few chews wondering if I was about to get sick or if this was some new experimental texture McDonald’s is rolling out to cut costs. If I wanted raw food, I would’ve gone to the grocery store and saved myself the trouble.

Now let’s talk about the fries, because wow. I didn’t know it was physically possible for fries to be hard as rocks, but here we are, rewriting the laws of fast food physics. These things were so stiff I’m pretty sure I could’ve skipped them across a lake. Crunchy is one thing, but these were borderline construction materials. I dropped one on the table and half-expected a crack to form. If McDonald’s ever needs to reinforce a building, I highly recommend they just use whatever fryer these fries came out of.

The temperature of the food also made absolutely no sense. Somehow everything was cold and hot in all the wrong places. The outside of the burger bun was warm, but the inside was cold, damp, and sad, like it had given up on life halfway through the process. The cheese wasn’t even melted; it just sat there, stiff and offended, questioning why it had been involved at all. I’ve seen more enthusiasm from a microwave on its last legs.

The overall taste can best be described as disappointment with a side of regret. Every bite made me more aware of the life choices that led me to this moment. The seasoning was either nonexistent or aggressively wrong, I’m not sure which, but either way it did nothing to distract from the fact that this meal felt rushed, careless, and borderline unsafe. Eating it felt less like a meal and more like a chore I was determined to finish out of pure stubbornness.

To make matters worse, the presentation was laughable. The burger looked like it had been assembled during an earthquake. Ingredients were sliding everywhere, the bun was smashed flat, and the lettuce looked like it had seen things. This wasn’t fast food, this was fast chaos. I know McDonald’s isn’t exactly known for gourmet plating, but this was on a whole new level of don’t-care energy.

By the end of the meal, I was left with an empty box, a bad taste in my mouth, and the strong urge to never return. I didn’t feel full, satisfied, or even mildly okay with my decision. I felt betrayed. If this is the standard being upheld, then something has gone seriously wrong. McDonald’s managed to turn what should’ve been a quick, cheap bite into a long, drawn-out regret that I will remember every time I drive past those golden arches.

In conclusion, the food was basically raw, the fries were hard as rocks, and the entire experience felt like a cautionary tale rather than a meal. I came in hungry and left with disappointment, confusion, and a newfound appreciation for literally any other place that serves food. I would not recommend this location to anyone who values their time, their taste buds, or their basic expectations of cooked food.

Sat in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes at 3:00 p.m. Ordered the iced peppermint mocha coffee which was beautifully displayed on the menu board with whipped topping and chocolate drizzle. What I got was a clear cup mostly full of ice and flavored coffee with nothing on top. Paid 4.99 for that small cup that was half full of ice. I told the cashier I thought it was supposed to come with whipped topping and all she did was shrug her shoulders at me. I ordered my dad a fish sandwich and paid over $5.50 for it and it was the size of a small hamburger. The piece of fish was about 2 in by 2 in and about half an inch thick. Their prices are absolutely ridiculous and the cashier had zero people skills.

I hate to be the GRINCH over my meals. We were so excited about this promotion , I ordered 3 for a total of 40.00 and ordered extra onions, I even asked again at the window since they were “ready” that these had extra onions and was told yes. Well no onions and no extra onions and they were cold so they were not just prepared. And the grinch salt … shows to put it on hot fries. Well we never have hot fries but thought for this big promotion we might actually get some since it is so advertised. The socks were great the promotion was great but the food and service were horrible. I am also not a fan of the fry boxes with the fries in yellow. When we glance down in our bag to see if the order is kind of right it’s misleading as it makes it look like the box is full. My fries would have fit in a small fry bag. Very disappointed in McDonald’s quality service and accuracy.

Worst one yet. Rude and terrible service nothing made with respect or correctly. We ordered to dine in and the girl served us threw our to go bag literally down on table and said have a great day in rude tone. Had to get our cups few minutes after waiting while 2 other customers orders all got messed up and / or didn't get taken lol. I know these are kids but come on. Serve with some gratitude and respect.

So sweet of the person ahead of me to pay for my meal, random act of kindness. Too bad my bun was burned and inedible. Too many bad meals at Piedmont, I am done with this location.

Ordered a six piece nugget happy meal and was asked to pull up. There was nobody in line..after waiting a few minutes a car pulled up beside me while waiting and got his two happy meals before I received my one happy meal. After waiting twelve minutes I called the store and they were clueless as to what my order even was nor that I was even waiting outside. I then had to tell them my order for them to make it. Total time for a happy meal...15 minutes. Nobody even offered to make this right. Very poor management.

it's small and cramped inside. It was clean though. Biggest problem was that handicap parking is blocked by cars waiting in line for drive thru preventing HP from leaving parking spaces.

If the drive thru is empty doesn't mean itll be quick. check the 8 spots for mobile orders. They cant fix a simple burger and fry in a timely manner so they make you sit in parking lot for 30 minutes to appear to corporate as if noone has to wait.

The girl at the window was nice, but could tell she was stressed/scared. The talking behind the counter made it clear why. Some of the employees are horrible, I feel bad for the young girl in the window. This place needs new managers to correct this behavior

I'm not a big fan of McDonald's but I do love their iced coffee and Frappe drinks! The service was great, the atmosphere was very ambient, because we used the drive thru and there was awesome music from Sirius XM rocking the radio 😎🔘🔘🔘🔘!
