“Been wanting to try this place for a while and we enjoyed it very much. Our waitress/bartender Lacey was very friendly and knowledgeable. The stuffed mushrooms she recommended were the best we've had in a long time. We had the smothered chicken and cowboy sushi, both of which were well-crafted with fresh ingredients and tasted great. Getting to finally see Savannah J perform at The Place Next door was well-worth the drive alone. The headliner Karen Waldrup and her band were absolute pros and her manager was a cool cat. Met the owner David who was very hospitable and "talked shop" with us for a bit. Looking forward to going back for dinner and a show the next time Savannah J plays again.
