“Love, LOVE this location! My usual Mellow Mushroom is the one in Five Points in Birmingham and this one, while newer, more modern, and open, definitely has the correct vibes! Our waitress was incredibly attentive and well spoken, and the food itself was yummy. What an incredible addition to the Pike Road area!“

“We went for brunch the food was nicely presented. For the most part the flavor was good, nothing to make me personally want to go back for anything particular. However others in my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals.They loved the salmon croquettes and the fish and grits to be more precise. My husband and I had the steak, it was just okay, nothing special. The potatoes were delicious, seasoned very well. I did ask for my eggs to be scrambled well, they were not (not sure if the waitress entered it in or not).The hostess was so nice and friendly. He was about to take our orders when the waitress came over, she was less enthusiastic to be there. She seemed as if she could have been anywhere but there.I would like to try the non brunch items so I'd give them another try in the future.“

“Frenchie's was a fun place to visit. This was the first time for my date and I to visit. We had reservations prior to a ball and the staff was very accommodating to help us stay on schedule. I enjoyed all the food but the sauteed crab claws as an appetizer where my favorite and it paired well with my old fashioned? I'm not sure how often the menu changes but there weren't many options on the menu so I suspect it changes periodically to help keep things fresh. I look forward to coming back to try new things at a later date.“
