Meat was very VERY VERY THIN AND HARDLY ANYTHING ON BREAD. I'VE NEVER EATEN AT A SUBWAY IN ANY STATE WITH HARDLY ANY INGREDIENTS. Then when I said something about the thin meat the man threw another piece on it like it would make a difference.

I recently visited Subway and ordered a salad. While the staff were friendly, I was disappointed by how little food I received. The owner was very particular—even counting out the shredded cheese—which made the experience feel stingy, especially for the price. The portion just wasn’t worth the cost, and I don’t plan to return to this location.

Let me start by saying that I eat Subway for lunch at least once or twice per week, which is probably more than I should. I have never seen a location spread the meat so thinly. This man counted every single piece of vegetable that went into the sandwich. I felt like I was eating bread with the smell of everything else. I think he slight of handed my sandwich before rolling it up. He grabbed the two chocolate chip cookies with his hand... need I say more? Bro legit spread 1/4 of their meat scoops for a footlong, 6 pieces of pepper, and 6 onions (3 on each side of the footlong) He made me feel like that store is struggling that bad that they have to ration everything to the max.
I was just passing by, so don't let my experience influence your decision. Maybe regulars get the regular servings of meat to bread ratio. Also, dude, don't touch people's cookies. That's nasty.

Food ok, bread not as fresh should have been I came after 5-530pm for me and my husband. There was hardly any meat on sandwiches when we came home to eat. We had the rotisserie bacon ranch footlongs. However, this Pleasant Grove location is not as bad as the Hueytown location on Allison Bonnet, I would give one star and that's being generous. The vegetables were old, they only had one kind of bread, that seems like they had made it a long time ago, out of certain things I asked. The Subway sign was broken, and the building overall looked like parts were falling off. The drive through sign was broken up and not working. I must conclude that whoever owns this franchise or store needs to tear it down or remodel the store not limited to management and other personnel.

M.p is great! Everytime I come in she is doing her best and it truly shows. Even when there’s a line of people out the door she is making and doing everything as quickly and diligently as possible with a smile on her face. She is the reason I continue to come back. Prices have gone up way too much and they don’t honor coupons majority of the time at this location and the atmosphere is just so so; but mp keeps us coming back with her amazing customer service!

This location really try’s to cheat you on portions of food especially if it’s an online order.

After noticing that a footlong was 13 and some change, I asked the lady when did the prices go up to this?! She said after new management took over. I promptly left and went to the one closer to home where the same sandwich was 10 and some change.

Normally I would rate my experience 5 out of 5. I have lived in Pleasant Grove for almost 2 decades and frequent this particular Subway weekly. Because of my health, I have not had the strength to cook as I usually do. Instead, weekly I pick up Subway for my family. I usually have the best interactions with the staff. They are usually so kind and give great customer service. Monthly, I usually buy gift cards to certain restaurants to budget my money for the month. Because of this, I usually pay for my Subway purchases with a gift card. Every.......single.....week. Today, I come in to purchase food for my family and when I tried to pay with the gift card the young lady tells me that I cannot pay with the gift card and it was never possible to do so. Obviously this young lady is new because I did not recognize her face. Understanding that she just may not know how to do it, I told her that I am a regular customer and that I come in every week and pay for my food with a gift card. She said that it is not possible and that I am a new customer. The way that she spoke to me was so rude. I was so embarrassed that she would call me a liar and talk to me the way that she did. The line had started to get long because she did not know how to ring up the transaction and instead of just admitting that she didn't know how to do the transaction (Which by all means would have been understandable if she was new) she decided to continue to call me a liar and say that I'm a new customer and that I do not know what I'm talking about and that it is completely impossible that I ever paid with a gift card at that store. She then called her boss on the phone and spoke in another language so that I would not understand what she was telling her boss. Then got off the phone and told me that she was right and that they do not accept gift cards at that location.....ever. Because I was a long time customer, I knew another way that the gift card could be rung up and proceeded to show her how to ring up the gift card. Yes I could have done this in the beginning.... but I was called a liar and was being talked to rudely. I had a smile on my face and was professional the whole time. Afterwards, she never apologized and continued to insist that the error was me and not her. I was shocked and said: "Mam...are you calling me a liar?" I had literally just proved to her that I knew what I was talking about. I politely asked her for her name and she said Nancy. I'm not sure if that was true but the whole interaction was EXHAUSTING. She seemed very young (late teens/early 20s). I at least tried to speak to her professionally and with the understanding that she absolutely didn't afford me. It just seemed to really bother her that I would politely stand my ground on what I knew for a fact. There was just no reason to be rude and most of all call me a liar....even after I proved her wrong. Oh and by the way, there was another guy there working with her who watched the whole interaction and never tried to correct her or help.

Place is way too expensive to be scarce on the food. When I spoke about it, they made smart comments to themselves and laughed. Smh.
