El Mariachi is a Mexican restaurant known for its delicious and fresh food, including street tacos, pollo loco, and puerco al pastor. The chips are crisp and light, while the salsa is flavorful, with one reviewer noting it as "incredibly good" and "fresh." The staff are friendly and attentive, quickly resolving any issues that arise. Prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. It is considered the best Mexican restaurant in Prattville, with one customer even claiming it serves the best Mexican food in Alabama. The restaurant has a small parking lot but plenty of seating inside, and it is kept clean. Visitors often praise the authenticity of the dishes, especially the pork Verde, which makes mouths water just thinking about it. The location is convenient, right off the interstate, making it easy to access. Customers love the fresh, authentic food, friendly smiles, and the welcoming atmosphere, making it their favorite place to eat in the area. Many have found the chicken fajita quesadilla excellent, and the rice and beans flavorful without needing any added seasoning. El Mariachi is closed only on Sundays, and diners frequently remark on the fresh taste and great service, promising satisfaction and fullness.
