This BBQ restaurant is Superb. The service is 5☆. Most importantly it has a 99 score on inspection. Now to the food. I ordered rib n chicken plates...and alot more. Everything was great. If you want some good bbq..make the trip if out of town..you will not regret it..trust me. Thanks Rock and your staff!!!

I love Rock's, the food there is always on point! I've been a customer since he had the trailer and would catch him selling it in different parking lots around town back in the day! It's just the lady who takes orders since they moved into the brink and morter that makes me not want to go back anymore! She has never been friendly when it comes to placing an order! Never seen her smile, always comes across like she's in a bad mood! Just being honest!

Happened to be near Prattville and googled BBQ, and it directed me there. Nice half slab of ribs. Great sauce, good sweet tea, and the 2 ladies working were really nice and appreciative. Corn fritters are a must. Can't wait to get near Prattville again so I can visit again.

Ms. Marie, Mr. Derrick & Ms. Tish were all accommodating and kind. The food is BOMB. Definitely my go to for some barbecue from now on. Got the Leg Quarter plate with okra, and coleslaw. Perfectly smoked chicken, so tender. The okra was fried to perfection.
Chicken tender plate was seasoned well and you get a generous amount of food! Mac and cheese was creamy and truly homemade and baked. The greens were also very yummy.
Corn muffins were moist and sweet enough.
Buttered toast on the side is a great surprise.
Ordered a side of okra to go because it was so good.
We will definitely be back. Love them.

We got the pan of rib tips and mac and cheese today and it was delicious. We can't stop snacking on the rib tips!

Got the rib plate, with beans, and collards. Sides were pretty bland, nothing crazy. Ribs did not taste smoked at all, no smoke ring, almost tasted boiled or pressure cooked. Texture was good but overall were very bland. The regular bbq sauce was very sweet.

Went here for lunch after an appointment. After reading some other reviews, I decided to go with the rib tips plate with potato salad and baked beans. The rib tips, while flavorful, were a bit tough and dry. The potato salad was a traditional southern style potato salad and was average. The highlight for me was the baked beans. They were a nice spicy beans but included a very finely chopped ground beef. Not enough to be too much but just the right amount. The beans were wonderfully flavored and I loved the spicy kick. I would like to give them another chance on the barbecue and would try one of their other meats in hopes they would be much more tender than the rib tips. The staff was friendly and checked on me to see if I needed anything.

Listen, their rib tips are amazing. Their sauce tastes like a honey BBQ glaze, and every dip is heaven. Their fried okra is the best in Alabama, and their Mac and cheese reminds me of the kind my grandma made.
