My children and I greatly enjoyed afternoon tea today. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food and tea were delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We look forward to returning.
Noteworthy details: This visit was to their gift center. You can find quality items here that you don't find everywhere. They are always getting new things. I often find 'that special gift' here. I love to come dine here also. Meals are by reservation only. The food is delicious, well prepared, and elegantly presented. It is always an enjoyable experience.

Amazing experience...felt like I stepped into a Victorian time warp....I even had DREAMS of this place...felt like I've been there before...one thing needs improvement...I noticed outside to the side there was once an herb garden but was dreadfully grown over...I'd love to see it come to life again!

My friend and neighbor Karen has been many times. We’ve decided we’re going once per month now. My first time today and I loved it!! ❤️
Going to the Tea Room has become our monthly treat. The staff are so friendly and helpful. All the teas we have tried are delicious. Ms. Beth gives wonderful recommendations and her food is phenomenal! I highly recommend visiting if in the area. We are definitely becoming regulars.

Took my grandmother for Queen’s Tea and we loved it! Over 100 loose leaf tea options and we tried at four during our visit, all were delicious. The scones were fresh and delicious! Yummy finger sandwiches, quiche, and desserts. The whole visit was so nice. The whole place was decorated for Christmas and the proprietor gave us the history of the house. The tea was really excellent served hot and they kept on top of service. We were a little nervous about the obvious work being done to the house when we pulled up, but trust me this place is worth the visit.Food & drinks: Started with house salad and quiche, both were delicious. We had the Queen’s Tea, each sandwich was different and really worth trying. We really loved the fresh scones with lemon curd. The best was the tea though which was served hot but drinkable and since it was bottomless you could try different blends. They even sell tea in the gift shop.

We had a great outing to the Smith-Byrd Tea Room. The house was decorated for Christmas, so it was very cozy and warm. The selection of tea is expansive, and the food was tasty. A lovely way to spend the morning.

Located in Prattville’s charming historic district, this tea room was a delightful place to spend the afternoon and made a lovely location to host our small gathering! The service and food were top-notch & the Monk’s Blend tea was the most delicious I’ve ever had. Beautiful teapots/ teacups and charming seasonal decorations were among the lovely adornments. The husband & wife owners and other staff were so kind and patient with us, including with my inexplicably fearful one year old. We enjoyed looking through the gift shop and hope to return.
Wonderful High Tea as always!
