I ordered friend chicken, cabbage, greens and it included Rice with gravy and cornbread. Everything was seasoned to perfection! The cabbage was my favorite of the veggies but the greens were the most flavorful, but the added sweetness isn’t my forte as I’m not use to sweetness in greens. The friend chicken was chef’s kiss! Great stop if you’re traveling in areas as I was.

Great soul food - we had the baked chicken, perfect mac and cheese, braised cabbage with a little kick, rice with a silky brown gravy, and just right, sweet, buttery yams. We shared it and could barely finish! All of this, plus our drinks for $20. Clean, off the beaten path. We will revisit!

I ordered turkey wings the Grub hub lady that left my food on the front porch after I had requested it be delivered to me be put in my hands, after and hour l called to see when I was going to get my food she told me she left on my front porch and when I opened my $35 plates there were 4 tiny tiny dried up chicken wings on my plate. I was so disappointed and offended really that restaurant would serve this to anyone for human consumption. Those wings should have been put in the trash can they were hard and dried out, small with no meat on them and I was charged Thirtyfive dollars for this meal the dressing was delicious, yams okay,green had no flavor at all very disappointed.

We got plates from here today and it wasn't really good. My collards greens was more cut up stems than the leaves. The yams was so so my rice was spicy for some reason and I don't know why if it was pepper in it it was too much my chicken was alright. Cornbread was terrible. I was really disappointed with this food today. It seems to me it is a hit and miss with this place. It's just bad to pay money for food and it's not good.
