I ordered friend chicken, cabbage, greens and it included Rice with gravy and cornbread. Everything was seasoned to perfection! The cabbage was my favorite of the veggies but the greens were the most flavorful, but the added sweetness isn’t my forte as I’m not use to sweetness in greens. The friend chicken was chef’s kiss! Great stop if you’re traveling in areas as I was.
Great soul food - we had the baked chicken, perfect mac and cheese, braised cabbage with a little kick, rice with a silky brown gravy, and just right, sweet, buttery yams. We shared it and could barely finish! All of this, plus our drinks for $20. Clean, off the beaten path. We will revisit!
EVERYTHING we ordered was DELICIOUS, and I mean EVERYTHING!!! It's definitely worth the price. Great staff and service. It's definitely a go-to of mine, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
