“This place is a hidden gem! So glad we stopped! We waited a good while for our food, but it was worth it. It was all hot and fresh and so good! Maybe call your order in ahead cause it took a while. Especially with a hangry toddler. Bbq was great, and we loved the homemade fries! Service could’ve been better as we saw others actually getting their own refills, but I think there was only one waitress. I had to get a homemade fried pie to go, which was stale, but still good, nonetheless. We will definitely be back!”

“Been eating at The Ark for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest childhood memories were coming in with my grandparents on Friday nights. Stopped in yesterday for lunch and while the catfish was as good as always and the service was excellent, we were all disappointed to find that they have changed hushpuppies. I HATE onions and one of the things I always loved about The Ark was that their hushpuppies had no onions. When we sat down yesterday, we immediately ordered a dozen (as we always do) but when we got them they had onion in them. As much as we enjoy eating there, I can get good catfish without driving over an hour to The Ark so the hushpuppies were the main reason we came. I guess we are done unless they go back to the recipe I have eaten for nearly 50 years.”
