Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon.. This place was covered up with people looked like from a funeral service. The young ladies working this place were fantastic. They had about 40 to 45 people there and got everyone fed and settled in a timely manner. These young ladies were professional and down home. The food was great. I could have asked for anything better. Kudos to these ladies and to the restaurant.
This place is a hidden gem! So glad we stopped! We waited a good while for our food, but it was worth it. It was all hot and fresh and so good! Maybe call your order in ahead cause it took a while. Especially with a hangry toddler. Bbq was great, and we loved the homemade fries! Service could’ve been better as we saw others actually getting their own refills, but I think there was only one waitress. I had to get a homemade fried pie to go, which was stale, but still good, nonetheless....
Mom and Pop Hometown Restaurant in Ragland Alabama...one of a kind place...Friday night steak dinner with a hot potato and salad. The steak is cooked to perfection...if you have never been here...I'm asking you, why not ? If your sick and tired of the fast food chains. Then this place is your next stop...choo choo...did I mention homemade fried pies ...omg... delicious and good to eat ..
