We wanted to try a new hole in the wall place. Came in an ordered 2 Chai lattes and a pastry. Sat down with our pastry and started eating it. Then my friend told me very abruptly to stop eating it! There was mold inside the pastry! This was a bit frustrating but the response from the worker was even more frustrating for me. As a business owner when situations like this happen we try our hardest to remedy the situations! She offered us other pastries and obviously I didn't want any more of their pastries but my friend didn't want to be rude so they accepted 2 cookies. I know had I been the worker behind the counter I would have worked very hard to make such an experience significantly better. Finding mold inside food is something a health inspector would not take lightly! This was not okay. Our lattes were good so I appreciated that. Just was frustrating the way the worker handled the whole situation! Their menu items are not cheap so experiences like this should NEVER happen! Hope this improves so these small businesses can stay running.

Messaged the owner with no response, save your money and go elsewhere.

I have a love of coffee & many coffee bars are decent. However some are above average. Kool Beanz is well above. I had the most amazing Mocha Frappe I had ever had. If you want something worth your hard earned money go to Kool Beanz & give it a try. You won’t forget it.
