They have the best strawberry cake in the world and their smoked chicken sandwich with wite sauce is great too. One of my favorite places to eat in the area

We absolutely love this place to eat! The atmosphere makes it feel like an old timey store. The chicken bacon ranch cauliflower crust pizza is the best I have ever had.

I generally order a pound of pork, always fresh hamburger buns, and white sauce. Daisy always enjoys the smoked chicken. I also like their smoked turkey, as it is never dry. It makes a wonderful sandwich, especially with the white sauce.

Had to have some Local Joe's today. Best smoked turkey and pork. Sure it's a little out of the way, but it's definitely worth it. The people are always friendly. The smell of meat smoking on the grill is mouth watering. If you haven't been. You need to go. Thanks Jodie and family.

Tried this GEM out today after a search for bbq near me,GREAT CHOICE to come here there's a reason they've been here since 2009...had the pulled pork w beans and mac n cheese...pork juicy and expertly smoked great flavor..beans and mac n cheese on point as well!!! Also had smoked sausage, mayo slaw and potato salad. I could've just got a bucket of either side excellent potato salad and slaw done right....corn muffins a little dry but it definitely will not deter me from coming back..if yall are looking for GREAT BBQ at reasonable pricing ( total w tip was only $27) look no further...GREAT JOB FOLKS

On a vacation trip, we stumbled across Local Joe's in Rainbow City on the internet, and we are so glad we went there! My husband loved the ribs and my extra loaded baked potato with pulled pork and queso, plus other things, was good. The tea was super good. The service was top notch. The young lady who took our order at the register went above and beyond and was very helpful. They even allowed our little chihuahua to be with us. The canned veggies, various jellies, and pickles (even bread and butter yellow squash) were cool, but we took home a bag of homemade BBQ pork rinds and loved them. Other flavors are regular and Cajun. Local Joe's is indeed a unique place that lives up to its name-- you can tell the locals love it, and that says a lot about a good place to be. Thank you for a good experience and a memory made on our vacation. The Moores from Arkansas
