Came in and ordered the Shwarma Chicken. What I thought was fried mushrooms and a sweet tea. The price of my food was a dollar more than what the menu said. I noticed it after I sat down. They gave me a dollar back. FOOD: the portion I got was like a child’s portion. Big wrap but little chicken on it. No to mention the chicken was not seasoned the mushrooms that I got were gooey and not seasoned. Not what I was expecting. .The store has hand written signs all over the place and kinda made me feel like a real cheap restaurant. At least they could have had someone with good handwriting to do it. The signs look like a child printed them with a shape marker and I know somebody has a computer they could have printed better signs with. I paid 14.18 for my food besides the dollar they gave me back. This is not a good first impression at all. Would I come back to this restaurant? No. Why. They have space heaters in the lobby on the table to heat the lobby. Kinda strange. So make sure you bring a jacket to eat. But I wouldn’t come back here because the food quality is not good. I’d rather had spent $20 some where else.

Best falafel!! Delicious hummus!! And, you absolutely must get the mint tea. It's addictive. Baklava is great, as well.

This place started off with great food, but really inconsistent CS/ordering process- for the longest time they didn’t even have a solid google page and public phone number. Then the food dropped in quality too and I think many wrote this place off. They eventually went weeks without answering the phone anytime I called.I’ve tried them again in recent weeks and it feels like they’ve gotten things straightened out. The foods good again and it’s really easy to get in and out quickly if you call ahead. It’s always going to be a wait if you just drive up because it’s not fast food.I wish the community would give it another chance now- nothing else in the area like it and it’ll be a real loss if they don’t make it.

It is the best food of its type in Etowah County. The new management has installed a more competent, friendly staff. Place is clean. If you have previously had a bad experience, give them another shot. It's really good.
They were great and I enjoyed the food. I went through the drive thru and the menu was a little bit confusing but the lady at the window where I picked up our food gave me a menu that had so much more it seemed that the drive thru menu had. She was friendly and polite. Everything turned out well. I definitely plan to go back and would recommend.

The menu price did not reflect what I was charged. I questioned this and was told they just have not changed the pricing on the menu. There was no notice posted about price increase. Purple Onion is overcharging customers without offering to tell them up-front of the price increase. I consider this stealing.....and looking at reviews this has been happening for a while. People....look at your receipts. Purple Onion will never get another dollar from me. This is dishonest. This was at the Rainbow City AL location.

My husband loved the Philly sub. My chicken salad wrap was just okay. Food is prepared to order. The quantity of French fries was very generous.

I love the kafta kebab with a side of taffouli. Wonderfully seasoned and the beef is cooked to be crispy on the outside while slightly pink and tender on the inside. The mint tea (served chilled) is also great. Now I don't have to make myself mint tea all the time, I can just go buy some if I'm out and about!Also try the zesty chicken gyro

First visit food tastes great had philly steak sandwich felt it needed more meat especially based on price and latter checked out website and pic of sandwiche shows a lot more meat, French fries were great with a large serving, so it's a nice business but we feel prices to high for meat servings size on both of our sandwiches
The potatoes were awesome. I wasn't able to finish even half a mine. but man it was
