Service was great. The girls at the restaurant all worked together taking care of the customers. However, the food was not good. The food wasn’t restaurant, nor bar quality in my opinion. Fried pickles were soggy, the chicken wings are pre cooked and then frozen with a breading on them that makes them fatty and rubbery when reheated. No one in our group finished their food even tho we were all hungry. Again, service was great and the girls tried. Idk if it’s the food distributor that they use, or maybe inexperienced cooks learning but it could definitely be better. The set up is nice and I could see it being a great place for food and drinks with friends and family if the food was just prepared better. **NEXT DAY UPDATE** currently my wife possibly has food poising after eating half of the shrimp wrap. She has been sick since 30 minutes after eating half of the meal lastnight. No one else is sick, she’s the only one who had shrimp.

This is a step up from those treasured hole-in-the-wall places, with outstanding food and some nights with live music. It was an excellent find for us. The build-your-own burger was excellent with its custom blend of brisket, chuck, and short rib. The shrimp were really good, the potato salad was excellent (theirs is the mayo / sour cream kind, not the pickle / vinegar kind), and the chicken quesadillas were killer good, with smoked chicken and bits of bacon (best quesadillas ever!) And we enjoyed the plain cheesecake to finish it off. We'll be back to try the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. I highly recommend Billy Jack's!

This is becoming a new favorite spot in town. We regret not having checked it out sooner. The food is incredibly good. The kitchen staff has gone above and beyond for me before (seriously, what kitchen is willing to pull cabbage from a salad mix these days?!). My partner loves the build your own burger and my kid is obsessed with their hush puppies. I'm a big fan of all their chicken options. But the blackened is low key best.

I’ve always loved Billy Jack’s fish tacos and tuna dip, but my recent experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. I usually dine in, but today I decided to go for a to-go order. Right from the get-go, the girl who answered the phone was pretty rude, making me feel like I was bothering her.
When I picked up my food, I asked for a cup of ranch for my hush puppies and was shocked to hear I’d have to pay for it. Seriously? I’ve never been charged for a condiment before, whether eating in or taking out. I can understand the charge if I was asking for extra but I received nothing but the food I ordered. It’s just ridiculous to charge for something so basic, especially since my order didn’t even come with any condiments, plasticware, or napkins.
Honestly, this whole experience has really put me off. They have lost my family’s business over 1 cup of ranch and a bad attitude! Seems like they really need customers if they’re going to nickel-and-dime regulars for one simple sauce to go with their meal. Super disappointing!
