Horrible packaging, they did not properly package the salsa and it spilled in the bag..making the chips soggy and when I tried to pick up the chips up within the bag; it tore and all the chips fell into the take out bag! and made me a mess to clean up, which I had to throw away. Thank you for making me waste $7 worth of chips and salsa

Today is June 8th and I've passed by this place many times and I usually stop at Julia's just up the road but for some reason I thought I'd stop by this place to give it a try. My big mistake and won't be stopping here again. I can't say if the food is good or bad since all I tasted was the chip and salsa because it seemed as if none of the waitresses had time to come to my table. I mean as soon as I seat down and they bring a menu and before I got any chips and salsa brought to me a waitress ask for my order and I just had gotten an menu I said that I needed a minute and I decided what to order and waited probably 5 minutes and a waitress was walking by and she turned and asked if I was ready to order and was fixing to tell her my order and ask about getting more chips because the chips they brought to me tested like burnt cooking oil but before I could even say anything the waitress said to give her one second soil figured she was grabbing a pad to get my order but I watched her wait on other tables and watched more people come in and the waitress didn't take but a spit second to get chips to their table as I still seat there waiting and 10 more minutes pass by and still nobody still coming to take my order... it seems like if your new face in here they just ignore you but finally after another 4 or 5 minutes a waitress finally comes to the table to ask for my order and by that time I had enough of the nonsense I've done been seating and waiting a good 30 minutes to give my order so I just the waitress that I just wanted the check for the chips and salsa and she didn't waste no time on that and I ended paying a little over 7 bucks for the chips and salsa and they wasn't worth that. I won't be coming back to El Patron bar & grill but I usually pass through the area quite often and I will be stopping at Julia's Mexican restaurant where they will make sure that their customers are taken care of... I didn't have the opportunity to taste the food at El Patron Mexican restaurant so I can't say that's its bad but I don't know if it's any good either because the waitresses couldn't make the time to wait on me !!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is kind of unique, in that it offers both Mexican and Japanese cuisine in one restaurant. We opted for the Mexican side tonight, and ordered the Camerón con Arroz and the Burrito Grande (steak), with a small cheese dip to try out the queso. Service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The portions were large so we definitely left full. Excellent food for the price, for sure. We will be back to try the hibachi.

Great food and great service! Not everyday you can find Japanese food in a Mexican restaurant but this place has something for everyone. I got the hibachi chicken and it was as good as any other Japanese restaurant!

I've stopped in several times this last year to grab a quick bite. The staff is friendly and service was great. My order was taken immediately. Drink orders delivered in less than 6 minutes. They offer a variety of Mexican items on their menu. All of their meals are very good sized portions. I always have enough to take home for a 2nd neal. They also have very good Chicken Teriyaki. I just had dinner there this past Friday they had several large groups and still got my order fast. There are few places I like everything I've ever ordered and I would give a 5 rating for each time I've dined for service and especially food. Fajitas, cheese dip, enchiladas, ginger salad, and chicken Teriyaki are just a few of rhe things ordered. All great!!!
