We ate there when they first opened and was not impressed however we went back today with some friends and the food was great! It was a very long wait but it was worth it. The price was fair. I had loaded tots and took half of it home. My husband got the rib sandwich plate and we were very pleased today. I would recommend it just don’t be in a hurry.
I would not recommend this place it took 45 minutes to get our food and they was not busy there was 7 people in there total and everyone in there had to wait forever on their food when we finally got our food my sandwich barely had any bbq on it it was all bun and they didn’t give me my fries I had to go to the counter and ask for them and my daughters chicken fingers were hard and tiny and her fries were cold she said she could have ate McDonald chicken nuggets that would...read full review

Smoke N Batter is a restaurant with very good food that can be great and phenomenal. The sandwiches are huge with plenty of food for the price, which is fair and better than similar restaurants. Specific items like the brisket sandwich can be super tender and moist, while the loaded tots and rib sandwich plate have pleased customers. However, experiences vary; the pulled pork sandwich sometimes lacks smoke taste and enough barbecue sauce, with the slaw providing most of the flavor. The chicken, pulled pork, and baked beans can be just ok at best.
Service is inconsistent. The staff is often extremely nice, friendly, and helpful, but at other times seems displeased or inattentive. Wait times can be very long, even during slow periods, though many find it worth it. The restaurant is overall clean. While some visits are not impressive, many are highly impressed and recommend giving it a shot, advising not to be in a hurry.
