Absolutely delicious buffet with fried chicken and southern staples like mashed potatoes, green beans and mac and cheese. Not to mention you can order pretty much any cut of steak you like. I'm only 30 minutes from the Scottsboro location so we'll definitely be regulars!

I just found out why the rating for this place is so low. The food was fine, even though my steak needed steak sauce. My waitress was a pretty, pleasant young lady who was probably 21. However, she disappeared and I had to flag down another waitress to get my check. The worst part was while paying. After telling the lady my food was fine, she asked if I'd like to include a tip on my credit card payment. I said "15%,." This obviously annoyed her, even though nobody was behind me in line. She picked up a calculator and said "OK, if you want to be precise." For this reason, I'll never be back.

I've stopped at this restaurant twice and found the food good and the service excellent. It is not top-of-the-line but it is fast and the food was sufficient. It is conveniently located next to Highway 72 between Chattanooga and Huntsville.

This is my first visit to Cattle Stampede Steakhouse. When I was in Scottsdale several years ago it was Sizzlin Steak house. At that time they had a buffet and steaks too. As I remember it, when I visit last time the AC was out in most of the restaurant, like it was today. The buffet was fair at best. Chicken sat too long, lettuce limp and mushy. I had hoped that it had improved, just the name seems to have change.

The meat on the buffet looked like it had been sitting there all day so we decided to order from the menu. I ordered a steak cooked Medium and my husband ordered his Medium Rare. The Medium steak was a little tough but the Medium Rare was good and had great flavor. Heads up on the baked potato, It comes already LOADED with butter. So, you may need to request yours come without butter. The service was ok, our waitress could have been a little more friendly.

Buffet was nothing to call home about. Very small selection and food was under seasoned and overcooked. Service was not good at all. She never cleared our plates, I sat waiting for a refill for over 10 minutes and never got one. Had to ask multiple times for steak sauce and napkins. Waitress was upfront sitting and chatting with the hostess immediately ran to clear our table when she saw us get up, but couldn't bother to service us while we were there. They were not busy at all, where these actions could be excused.

I give this place a 5 star for the staff,prices and food. Now for whomever owns the place, that's a different story. This place is HOT! The staff are working their butts off and physically sweating while taking care of the patrons. GET THE AIR CONDITIONER FIXED! We will not be back until we call ahead to be sure the air is in proper working condition. I drove 40 min to meet some family there and the air was not working properly. The staff was so awesome but those conditions were not. I feel horrible they are showing up to take care of people and they are not being taken care of by the owner of that building.

I can me here when it was Western Sizzling. It was garbage then and under a New name but same owner it’s garbage now. Sunday afternoon nothing special on the buffet but the price is 16.00 after tax. Not 16.00 quality. I wasn’t even back to the table with my first plate and the check is there. Total rip-off. Worth 8.00 at best. I left one star because the tea was good
Good food. Little wait to be seated. Buffet with several kinds of meat, salad bar and dessert bar. Went on Sunday so buffet cost a little more but senior discount made it better.

Before opening the door an off putting smell stopped us at the door.. we went in anyways. Mistake.. I know.It's wasn't very busy. Fairly clean inside. Still smells odd.The waitress was great. But that's the highlight of the "experience".We had the bar. The macaroni tasted like dirty water with cheese. The beans tasted old. The bread had no flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy was disgusting. The tea was good. One of our kids waited 40 minutes for a grilled cheese. When the grilled cheese came out it smelled odd as well. I the youngen didn't like it so I tried it. It tasted old/stale. When I went to pay the lady at the counter was super nice. She asked how everything was I told her actually everything tasted off and smelled odd. Told her about the grilled cheese and that it's almost like the griddle or pan was dirty "it probably was" is the response I received. Will. Not. Be. Back.

The steak on buffet was good. The rest of the food was not fresh. There were no rolls they stayed out for our whole meal. There was no variety for dessert. The cobbler and bread pudding was cold. We were there around 6:30pm so this was not the end of night buffet. Don't understand why the food was not fresh and why empty items were not replaced. We did have a wonderful waitress named Nia. Her attitude and professionalism was refreshing. She was the only waitress we saw working and she was busy the whole time we were there.
