“We stopped by on a day trip, just myself and Hubby. It was around lunch time. The place was busy so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The people who waited on us were very nice and attentive. The food choices are not that big. My BLT was good, but they had no fries to go with it. They only offered chips, and about 3 other side type items. The other food choices were other sandwiches. There were no burgers either. The ice cream choices were very plentiful. I got black walnut on a waffle cone and it was delicious. The visit was very pleasant. Would go again for ice cream, but not for lunch itself.”

“I ordered the deconstructed kebabs and chicken quesadilla for carry out. Both taste fantastic. The meats are tender, veggies crispy. Stevie was my bartender and was absolutely the best. Great attitude, friendly and generous. Cherika is lovely as well and friendly. They make you feel like you are not in a chain restaurant, but more at home. So, good food, awesome service. Would give more than 5 if I could.”

“My wife ordered our dinner January 13 2024 20 pc bone in wings half bbq half without sauce with 2 baskets of fries a order of chicken tenders and the wings were made with hot sauce couldn't eat them bc stomach ulcers and the tenders were a little pink all we want is a remake of our order but nonetheless nobody can find when it was made since we paid with cash so we still have not gotten our order remade that's all we want we love scooters #1 food and services just some issues with our remake.”

“Went for lunch with friends, Love the relaxed atmosphere.. Because when we get together we Laugh out loud and usually stay couple hours. It's very clean, we were seated and food served promptly love the huge catfish fillet ❤️ Servers very nice and attentive but she could see we enjoyed catching up and didn't make us feel rushed to leave ! Our waitress said she enjoyed hearing our laughter ?”

“I enjoyed the authenticity of this restaurant. It was a little rough around the edges but very charming . If you want all you can eat chips and salsa, this isn't the place to go. But if you want to go where there's lots of locals and Spanish people eating, it's a fun experience. I got the tacos. They were very good. My husband got the quesadilla he said it was just all right . You'll need to take cash as the credit card machine was broken.”

“This place was a pleasant stop on our weekend road trip. I am a softie for the good old classic small town breakfast cafe and Gear Jammers fits the bill. Food is awesome - perfectly cooked like they give a darn, the inside is nothing fancy or pretentious, and the service is wonderful. Bring cash - they take cards but charge a fee. The prices are great, and you can tell that this is a favourite morning breakfast hangout. They're only open for Breakfast and lunch, but it's worth the stop. If you like real small town American (American Loving) good food cafes then this is worth the visit. In fact, I'll plan my next trip around breakfast just so I have a reason to stop in! You should too.”

“Decided to stop here for lunch while in Scottsboro, AL. Most food choices in town are down home cooking or take out. We were very surprised how incredible this place was. The service was fantastic - extremely friendly and very professional. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. I ordered a Pina Colada which turned out to be one of the best I have ever had. Bonus that it was served in a frosty mug and only $7.25!!!! I ordered the street tacos Al pastor and they did not disappoint. And my husband ordered quesa birria. Wow, wow, wow!!!!! And each plate was right at $11. We are from Huntsville with an overwhelming amount of food options. We love Mexican and especially street tacos. This was better than any of the places we have been to in Huntsville, Madison, Athens, etc. we will make the drive to go back.”

“This is a hidden gem! They’ve been open two years give or take, just around the corner and I had no idea! I was recommended the Cuban. The employee (if you served me, I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten your name!) gave me an informed description of the drink. She was warm and inviting. The shop was clean and stylish for this big city gal! And the Cuban coffee was delicious I had it iced, great suggestion. An all round great experience. I will be a regular.”

Highly recommend the Brian special and/or the Cole’s Special, those are our personal favorites but everything we have tried has been exceptional. We have always had an amazing experience ordering takeout or dining in, the staff has always been so kind and accommodating.”

“Went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Ordered 2 to go meals. Food was great! However, it was a bit disorganized. I waited almost 30 minutes for my food, then found out it had been set out for pick up about 10 minutes earlier! No one had noticed it. We will back to eat there. But this time in the dining area!”

“This is by far the best restaurant in Scottsboro, let alone the best Asian cuisine in Jackson county, Alabama.The owners are amazing people and extremely cordial and make you feel like family from day one. After living in town for 4 years, I actually did not know this location existed until a buddy brought me in for a business meeting over lunch and ever since then I can't stop coming back.I actually recently named one of their new roles called the boro rangoon roll which is a cooked crab roll that will completely change your life for only $7 for four pieces! This is unheard of pricing, especially on there a more exotic sushi and more exotic dishes you're looking at half the price of anywhere else I've ever eaten at - matt, my average lunch or dinner consisting of a bento box or chicken fried rice and two of the rolls mentioned above is $20 even with a tip. This is extremely good pricing for the quality of food and service that you receive. Everything is homemade. Their desserts are to die for the frozen cheesecake is amazing. The list goes on and on of positives about this restaurant. I cannot think of a single negative whatsoever and I strongly urge residents of the area and travelers to both come on in and check it out. You will not be let down! Tell them that jon from Rhode Island sent you !Ps. Bringing kids here. I see tons of kids and it's never a problem. They are never allowed or anything else and there is a great family atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem accessing the building. It's all one floor and the entrance in the front and side is wheelchair accessible.”

“We just left from eating supper. Miranda was our waitress. She did a very good job but the lady that sat us an older gray headed lady I assume is the manager or owner was awful. She was talking down to Miranda because of some confusion with an order while we were standing beside them trying to pay Miranda for our bill. She even clenched her fist at Miranda and very sternly said what did they order! No staff should be treated this way! We are all human and should be treated fairly. We all make mistakes. No one is perfect! This was uncalled for and she owes the waitress an apologize and should take some.lessons on professionalism. Just be kind to one another.
