“Amazing place to get a sandwich and an ice cream. The staff here are so friendly and kind too. I got a roast beef on rye with assorted accompaniments, it was grilled, delicious, and served promptly.

Then I got the smores sundae and it was amazing too. Lots of ice cream, rich, creamy, and lots of whipped cream.

Comfy cozy place with booths and tables and cute decor.

Scottsboro is a small town but the ice cream and sandwich love at Payne's is big and bright!”

“We came in May 8 for a late lunch/ early dinner . We wanted raw oysters and the waitress said you were out. We all order wings instead and they were great. Our waitress was Debbie , she did and outstanding job..Jeffersons will definitely be back on our books when we are in town.”

“It was our first time dining. We had reservation for valentines day. When we arrived, we are seated right away. Service is great and staff are great no doubt on that. But, we waited over an hour for our food! Some people that came after us, was leaving before us. My husband ordered lasagna and I ordered grilled jumbo shrimp. When we finally got our food, it wasn't what I was expecting. Now, the shrimp was good and warm.But whatever comes with it, it was not entirely warm and has too many peppers. On my husbands end, everything was good. But other than that little setback, we will definitely go back and try it again.”

“I ordered out for delivery. I got the pork katsu and the steamed and fried gyoza. The soup they sent was amazing! It came with a spicy, savory, and sweet soy sauce. I loved the sweet one. It was amazingly delicious! I would order again!”

“Tried Pappy’s for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The food was freshly made, great vale and tasted delicious. The hamburger looked great but my chicken fingers were so big, I would call them chicken hands! All was delicious! Excited to watch them grow in business! I saw a dessert that looked scrumptious. Check Pappy’s out, you will not be dissappointed!”

“We ate there twice in the same week. We stopped there on our way through to Pigeon Forge, TN based on a recommendation from a family member who has eaten there. We loved it! The food was great and the service was amazing! The servers there are great! We decided to stop there again 3 days later when we were passing back through going home. It was once again a great experience and they were appreciative of the return visit. We will definitely be back, if we find ourselves in Scottsboro, AL again. I highly recommend it!”

“Grew up in Scottsboro so Cups is very familiar to me. Was in town visiting and dropped by 2/15/25.

Last time I went I was really disappointed in the espresso. But they said that they have been working on the machine and it is tasting a lot better! I asked for a recommendation and Anna Leigh made me a delicious caramel macchiato.

Anna Leigh and Miley were working and were phenomenal!! They are so sweet and their customer service is just above and beyond. The food was also lovely, as always.

They finally did 20 minutes after we were there when they brought our stuff they brought them one at a time when we brought our drinks. They had weird stuff in our drinks. The ceiling was leaking water on us. We would never ask anybody to go there and we never want to go again.”

Fried fish, crab legs shrimp and grits were all amazing. Service was spectacular. Very friendly atmosphere with great southern hospitality. Don’t pass on this restaurant.”

“It's a one man show so if it's busy you will have to wait but he takes orders first come first serve. The large bar-b-qu sandwiches for $6.25 are more than enough to fill you up and are delicious. Onion rings are also excellent. This is my go to so can't report on much else. Location is a small building with a drive up window and walk up window. Two small picnic tables out front. Locals know about this place and they can run out of que at times, it's that good.”
