Los Potrillos Mexican Restaurant

The food was a big let down for me and my wife. The peppers had a slight freezer burnt taste along with a bitter burnt flavor on the beans. The rice is very bland. Service was excellent.

Food is good. Atmosphere is a 4. This place tries, but they have a big space, and a bar with no liquor license at this time. In the future, with the place packed, it may go to a 5.

Every time- Chile colorado!!! Delicious, but makes me sweat! Very comfortable seating and a great atmosphere! My choice for Mexican food in Scottsboro!

The food was really good. My only issue was that our food didn't come out at the same time. Part of my daughter's came out, several minutes later the rest came out with my husband's, and it was at least five minutes later that mine finally came out. I don't know if it was a kitchen problem or what.

Food was good. Tortilla chips were a little overcooked, but the meal was very good. Service was friendly and attentive, but plates were brought out piecemeal along with plates for another table.

We enjoyed our dinner. Restaurant is clean and colorful. Cheese dip was thick but good. We shared nachos with a side of jalapeños and tomatoes. Our dinner was less than $20. We would definitely go back.

Nice decor. Charge you if you use your c card.My lunch burrito was filled with too much rice and a small amount of meat. Service very good

Save your money! The salsa tastes like Ragu spaghetti sauce so we ordered cheese dip it was not melted cheese but a cheese sauce that was the consistency of pudding, couldn’t taste the tequila in the margarita it was so sweet like kool aid , my husband beer was warm and they put beans in the burrito I ordered that wasn’t supposed to have beans in it! The people in the table next to us had a guy barking like a dog, the people in the booth behind me were yelling across the restaurant at the waiter! All that aside the waiter was pleasant and kept a smile on his face!

Food was decent but not great, menu was to big... feels they need to get better at some items and get rid of some items. Not enough staff just like almost everywhere. Restaurant was being cleaned as we were there which was good since it needed it...

Don't bother coming here unless it's for lunch buffet. I don't ever leave reviews anyway but this was so bad I had to. Was here almost an hour and never got one refill. When I asked for Queso I got laughed at still got it though, and all our waiter did was sit at the bar and play on his phone. No wonder the parking lot is barren.

Food tastes great! Service can sometimes be lackluster especially if eating outside. Love the atmosphere though. Last time we went they had a bull riding machine. The worst part of the night was paying for the food because they got a little confused by the separate payments.

I when there for the luch buffet around 12 noon and the food was ok but they make theirs food all at one time,and food was dry out, some of it! And for the price they charge they at least could make smaller batches so food stay fresh as customers come and to get it. Thanks

Do not eat here. Tried this place for the first time tonight…… they brought everyone at my table their food, but never brought mine. The waitress never came by to ask if we needed anything, much less to see if all our food had arrived. I will not be back.

Terrible! I immediately told the waiter I couldn't do spicy, and asked how the enchiladas were. Well, I got them and they were way to spicy to eat. So I told him. Without asking what I wanted, he had another plate of enchiladas made - no sauce. It was so dry, just gross. Also ordered tortilla soup - no tortilla's. It had chicken, along with carrots, peas and potatoes. What??? It was hot and broth was good. But that is not tortilla soup. I will never go back.
