Papa Johns Pizza

I don’t usually right reviews like this, but this is frustrating and needs attention.

When we went to pick up an order last time, the worker was so high that they made us wait an extra 15 minutes because they didn’t realize our pizza was already done and ready on the rack. On top of that, they had asked for the name multiple times, and my boyfriend thought he was having a stroke because they kept repeating back the wrong name. It was actually another worker that realized our pizza was ready and passed it to him.

And then today, when I placed an order for delivery in advance (before the store opened at 1 pm) it said it was supposed to arrive by 2:00 pm. At 2:05, I called and spoke to someone who said since DoorDash hadn’t picked up the order, so they would close up and deliver it since I am only 8 mins away (I don’t have my car atm so I would have gotten it if I could). At 2:22 pm, I get a notification from DoorDash telling me they are on their way. So I was lied to and made to wait more time. That’s ridiculous. Management needs to get this place in order. The pizza was finally delivered at 2:32 pm.

My husband is the GM of Papa Johns of Scottsboro and he is doing his very best to get the store in tip top shape due to an ex employee just walking out and not telling anyone. He is also working on getting a strong and reliable crew, but he will make sure your food is hot and delicious!!

Ordered a pizza online at 10:43pm. Yes, I know they close at 11, but not 10:30. Supposedly. Because we get a phone call at 10:53, after we are pulling into the parking lot, stating that they are closed and won’t be making our pizza because the ovens are shut off. Maybe don’t have hours if you aren’t going to follow them. And maybe don’t have an auto generated email stating that you have our order and have started preparing it. No wonder this location only has 3.6

Got my order wrong. Almost didn’t even bother picking up the remake, due to the manager thinking it’s perfectly fine to sit on the table they cut the pizzas on. And there appears to be oven cleaner sitting out near the food areas and don’t think handwashing is very important here either, considering the gentleman decided to scratch near his private areas then hand out boxes without ever washing his hands. Disgusting and has gone downhill since the old workers left.

I ordered bread sticks from here today and when I got home they looked awful and hard I couldn't eat them

Got Lemon pepper wings and garlic knots the other day, arguably the worst food I've ever had but it could be because it was 11pm.

Ordered pizza while we were shopping in Walmart and they said it would be ready in 7-17 minutes. By the time we checked out at Walmart and headed to Papa Johns which is super close to Walmart our pizzas were ready and tasted great!

Placed 2 orders on the first one they called back and said they couldn't make half my order so they canceledit. Then on the second one waited over an hour and a half they then called and told me they couldn't deliver it.

Food was ok, service not so great. Show up to pick my order up and there are 5 people inside. Seem to me goofing off. One kid has long stringy hair with no hair net, I almost left before even going in to grab my food. They where supposed to have had my order ready for pickup. I watched them put my order in the oven after telling them I was there to pick up. Papa John's is started to slide down hill, who is your GM at this location?

Really food and right amount of toppings

I could only give one star for service because as soon as I placed my order it was cancelled. They have no driver. Why offer delivery if you can't deliver?

Pizza didn’t have enough cheese, bubbly and had to recut the crust with a knife or tear the pizza apart. Light on cheese and hardly any sauce!

Really food and right amount of toppings

Ordered 3 pizzas, two were great, one was over done and did not have the extra cheese we ordered. Pizza tasted
