My brother asked what came on the plate and he treated us so poorly, we left.
Hope he learns how to handle simple questions regarding his menu. God bless his business and I’ll pray for him.

Our first time. Pretty good BBQ, amazing fried pies, we got the chocolate and apple, and will be back for some more of them! Our only complaint is that the Sprite was a yellowish green color, one not common to Sprite.

They are supposedly open until 7pm but I just pulled in at 2:30pm to find out that they are closed. It's a good thing they aren't the only bbq restaurant in town. I'm surprised that place is still in business.

Wish they were actually open during posted hours. I have been craving Tates for a week but never open. There is a truck parked in back. Changed my review to 1 star. My food was wrong. 10 minutes later they were closed. I called he said thet were closed for lunch. At 3pm? Restaurants trying to get business. You have it but don't even bother to open. White truck in back as always. Either open or close but do something!

Love Tates. Bbq sandwich best we had. Perfect combo of bun, pork, pickles, slaw, and sauce. Small sandwich for $5.19 is great value loved their beans and potato salad was normal
My husband got me on this place, as I’ve worked at 3 restaurants (2 bbq) and we love it! But Michael served me, I could tell he was having a bad day, so me being me, tried to cheer him up, and let him know I understood. He was “tired”. It was like I made him even angrier. I HATE dissing anyone, it isn’t the restaurant, but Michael, get it together honey! I’ll pray for you and hope you have a better day tomorrow and better attitude daily. Or if you’re going through something bad, even though I said,” atleast you didn’t lose 3 family members since April, house burned, lost our 2 dogs… but 5 stars for Tate’s!!! ♥️ Hoping he has a better day tomorrow. ? You’ve got this, Michael!

They have lost my business after today! Loyal customer here and just purchased two small BBQ plates over $20 and received boiled roast!? No bbq flavor or smoke! Smells like turkey and it’s gray in color!

We decided to try Tate's BBQ today 6/22. So glad that we did, the best bbq that will literally melt in your mouth. Such great flavor. We got the #1 family pack it came with meat chips buns side item (we got potato salad)and sauce. Also tried the slaw and beans. It was all fresh and so good. Also tried the fried peach pies and wow takes you back to your grannies kitchen.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE OWNER!! He should learn to speak kind to people who are trying to spend their hard earned money with him. I doubt i ever go there again and I’m telling all my family and friends so they don’t have to experience his rotten attitude and smart mouth ?
