They have the best catfish and onion rings I have ever had! Hubby had the double cheeseburger and corn nuggets which he said were delicious. The people working there are so pleasant, and the rebuild they did since the tornado is really nice. It’s a must go to place if we’re ever near Selma. Well worth the drive!

This place is apparently popular with the locals because they were super busy at 1-2 pm. But I was disappointed in the service and the food. We waited over an hour for our food and when it did arrive, we didn't even receive an apology. The food was hot but extremely bland. Like not even salt and pepper. I've worked in the food industry and I know how it is when you're busy and understaffed. An apology would have gone a long way with me. But yeah. Way too long of a wait and the food was unseasoned. I won't go back now.

We went on a Monday afternoon, the staff is friendly and helpful. They had a great selection of BBQ items side's to satisfy your cravings. Prices are very reasonable, and the serving sizes are great. If you are looking for an authentic BBQ with a good reputation, Lannie's is a great option
I visited Selma, AL with a 11 other colleagues from California and stopped into Lannie’s BBQ for lunch. We were met with exquisite customer service, they took our large order and were charming, efficient and the food was absolutely delicious. Even the customers that were local spoke praises about their wonderful experiences dining there throughout their lives. Everyone from the team behind the counter and in the kitchen to the customers were delightful. I can’t wait to return and eat there again. Thank you for you wonderful service!

food was awful. worse bbq I have ever had and potato salad tasted like sugar was poured in it. mac and cheese was a mush with no taste. It also took along time to get food and stuff was stacked up in several of the booths in there

The pulled pork and 1/2 chicken were superb. The fries, coleslaw, and corn fritters awesome. The pulled pork had a great smoky flavor and the sauce is a vinegar based and had a terrific zing to it. Fortunately the dine in is open and added to the enjoyment.
Good food means nothing when customer service is horrible . I can’t begin to tell you the few times I’ve come in and the women taking the orders have just been rude. I just called to place an order as I was clarifying my order (no tomatoes, etc.) I was placed on hold several times & hung up on. When the woman returned to the phone she asked, “ what do you want?” to which I replied, “I’m the same person that was just put on hold.” She said to me, “Ok, what do you want—I gotta go.” I canceled my order. Whether $3, $30, or $300.I refuse to be spoken with in that tone. I’m not from Selma, just passing through and it’s not a shortage of good restaurants where I am. The loss of my business may not mean much to them, but I can’t in good conscious make an exchange there today.

Our family has been eating at this establishment for many -many years. I know it has been in business 40-50 plus years. That speaks volumes along. This is a MUST stop when we come to Selma. The food and service are awesome. Unfortunately, you can’t dine inside since COVID, but that doesn’t stop us because we understand the impact COVID had on many businesses. We sat inside our car in chow down because you can’t wait to eat?. Yes, we get more to go??❤️
