Absolutely Amazing!!! We moved here from PA/MD and finally found true NY style pizza. The dough, the sauce, fresh mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage and the cheese sooo yummy! Marlene is so welcoming and treats you like a VIP. Definitely will be back.

FINALLY SOME NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA IN FLORENCE!We went and ate here for lunch, and it was delicious!!!If you like new york style pizza, you need to try this place out!The staff was also extremely nice and the service was pretty quick!Definetly our new pizza place for date nights!

New York style pizza that is the best I've ever had. A definite pizza place you must go to. The Margherita pizza looks so good like a piece of art but tastes even better. Service was excellent. If you haven't been and love pizza you must try it.

We really liked it, all ingredients so fresh. The pizza was yummy handmade dough fresh everyday baked to perfection. Must tell them light on the cheese ?? the monzorello was a bit too much..haha We just pulled some off & carried on.

Found this while in town for a workshop and was very pleased. Ordered a calzone for carry out it was wonderful. The staff really stood out for being so friendly. The two individuals I encountered both thanked me for my business. I stayed in Muscle Shoals and the info in my room (and another travel site) had the old location so my drive was longer than anticipated. I ordered early evening and was given a 25 minute window. I accidentally went to the wrong location before realizing the problem so I arrived a bit past my window, thinking my mistake would mean a cold and unsatisfactory meal to end my day. Instead of my order sitting on a counter it was being kept warm for me. There were only two people eating at the tables but the activity behind the counter indicated this was a popular delivery/carry out option for the area. I look forward to eating here again soon.

Ordered muffalata and it was very hot with somekind of hot pepper. I have eatten may muffs in Louisanna and never experianced this kind of sseasoning on a muff. What areyou putting on your muffs that make them unbearable?

Vertillo's Pizza, to me, is the best Pizza in Florence but I'm basing this on Cheese Pizza only, no toppings. I don't know if it's the cheese they use or the type of Pizza Ovens that they have but I just love the taste and there is always plenty of cheese on the pizzas. Their Prices are reasonable and service has always been friendly and excellent. Vertillo's Pizza has moved from their original Sheffield, Alabama location into this Florence, Alabama location which is the old Pizza Hut restaurant building but they totally renovated the building and it's like a new restaurant and also provides handicapped access. I know "Best Pizza" is a subjective term and based upon each individuals personal experience but I've recommended Vertillo's to several of my friends and I have yet for someone to get back with me and correct me. I do believe it's the best (Cheese) Pizza in Florence.

No doubt the best pizza in the Shoals Area! There are several really good, locally owned non-chain pizza restaurants around the Shoals Area but if rank Vertillos #1. Maybe the source of their great Pizzas are the ingredients or maybe the special pizza ovens they cook it in. You can dine in our take out. Vertillos pizza has moved from it's original Sheffield location to a location in Florence in the old Pizza Hut building after totally renovating it. They are now at 1608 Florence Blvd, Florence, AL 35630
