This was an excellent experience from the moment we walked in our waitress Virginia was outstanding and friendly. She was very attentive and helpful which made our first visit comfortable. Then we had the cheese curds which were very good. I ordered the oxtail, which was amazingly cooked and seasoned, the Cajun corn which was perfectly cooked, and the fried okra which you could tell was fresh okra and well cooked. My girlfriend had the fried pork chops, which was super moist and well seasoned, with some amazing fresh cooked collards. This was an overall great experience and we will definitely be eating there again and I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is a hidden gem that we should be fighting to get into. If you haven’t tried it you should.

Virginia is wonderful and made us feel so welcomed! We had the ox tails, which were divine! Seasoned and cooked to perfection! We also had the fried pork chops which were seasoned beautifully and so tender! She recommended the collard greens and I'm so glad she did! They were amazing and slap your momma good!!! We WILL be back for sure!!! This place is a wonderful little secret nestled right in Smith's Station. Highly recommend!!!

Called to place an order, as soon as I started to order I was asked to hold. I was on hold 7 minutes then was hung up on!
This was my first and last time ordering from this establishment. The food was too salty to consume (threw it away) ! I had the BAKED turkey wing dinner with greens and mac and cheese. I have an acquired taste for southern cuisine and this was NOT IT! The red velvet cake was store brought and dry. I wish that I could get a refund, but for the price I got what I paid for.UPDATE: you called and wanted to make things right but I respectfully decline, thanks for the concern and effort.
