We love the place but for one thing. The breading on the fried food was so salty we were up all night drinking water. We are going back and ask if we can get the food without so much salt.

EDIT from original post: We were served by the lovely!!!! Amy today and ONCE AGAIN Half Shell delivered excellent service and amazing food! So happy with my experience! They made sure my boyfriend’s birthday was wonderful! Shout out to Amy and Saber! We also went for my birthday last month and I didn’t catch her name, but our server then also rocked and was so kind!
Original: Saber is the best waitress EVER! Whenever my boyfriend wants to treat me to a nice dinner, I always choose Half Shell! The lovely hostess with the beautiful curly hair is always so polite and welcoming. They truly serve the best oysters I’ve ever had! I love how diverse the menu is, so when I bring a friend, I can pretty much guarantee they’ll find something they like. I attended a party in their private room during Christmas time, and it was probably the best Christmas party I’ve ever been to. Our waitress, Saber, took extra care to make sure we were well taken care of. She is so quick and attentive! She answered every question we had and was able to recommend things on the menu to try. We love having conversations with her. The last time we went, the awesome hostess with the gorgeous hair remembered me and seated my boyfriend and me in Saber’s section! We felt like celebrities. LOL.

We order takeout fairly often from the Spanish Fort location. We usually don’t mind paying higher prices for quality food instead of choosing cheap fast food. My issue is the level of care put into preparing the to go orders. Please do better by making sure all the components are included in the dish and food isn’t just thrown sloppily into takeout containers and please double check to be sure all items are included in the order. Too often we are missing bread from pasta dish, vegetables from sandwiches and rice from gumbo. Last night my gumbo was a partial portion with no rice AGAIN. Yummy but not worth $7.25.

I often eat at the one in mobile and it's always enjoyable. This was my first time eating at the one in Spanish fort but I was not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. The key lime martini was so good, definitely the best Martini I ever had.

This place always a vibe but, idk what happened to mobile, and this location in Spanish fort, but it wasn’t good for the price tag subpar food our food came out cold or lukewarm for a 2 adults and 1 toddler waitress was good but, no one was there as we have seen this place be super busy and pump out food but, we learned our lesson they have great food when they have good people they want to serve
