Collins, I believe, was fantastic. We had a large family group and our drinks were always full, food was great and with a reasonable short wait for lunch on Sunday. The Mahi on da bayou was delicious.

My wife ordered shrimp poboy and I ordered oyster poboy. Oysters had no taste , fryers to salty and bread was alful

We came in as a large group, have family visiting from the UK, Hailey was the best server for our group! The knowledge of the menu was very impressive! Her helpfulness and patients was very refreshing! We will definitely ask for Hailey again!

Such a fun joint with amazing seafood. Cannot skip the fire grilled oysters or fried mozzarella. We always get two dozen oysters. Best I’ve ever had. Service is always stellar. And their happy hour deals are great!

A real bummer. I was really looking forward to having some seafood, the waiter / restaurant were really worried about a big party they had in the back (the waiter told us about it) We got an appetizer, my husband got his food and mine never arrived. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if at least both our plates would have been delayed. On my way to Mickey Ds for a Fila-O-Fish :/

I'm from the NJ shore and we have great seafood places but somehow the southern food ranks as Awesome...
Now that I moved here to Mobile, I will definitely be returning to The Original Oyster House. I had a really enjoyable dinner and great service right on the water...

Food was pretty good and the service was fine. Atmosphere was nice- there around 230 and sat in the bar area. TVs were on so good SEC games playing. Overall, a really good late lunch experience and would go back. Can't say the same for other seafood restaurants on the Causeway.
