We stopped at this restaurant on Friday evening. We had a party of four. We have not stopped at this restaurant since the previous owners had it. We were pleasantly surprised on the atmosphere, entertainment, and most of all the food! My wife had the trigger fish. My daughter had red fish tacos. My future son-in-law had Shrimp Alfredo. I’m assuming it was one of the owners came by after we placed our order and she said she could add some scotch bonnet pepper on some of our dishes. My son-in-law truly enjoyed it. I had the pork chop, which was amazing! We also had an appetizer—Crabby Pier house dip—which was amazing. Our server was Alina. She was wonderful. They had a gentleman playing music there last night. His name is Brandon Donnerson. We really enjoyed the entertainment. This place is nothing like what it used to be with the previous owners. I encourage everyone to stop by and patronize this restaurant.

First of all we had been to this place when it was something different and were pleasantly surprised at the staff and the food in this trip. The greet at the door was nice and welcoming!
Our server was prompt, concise, and extremely accommodating. Her name was Emily. She was knowledgeable and explained everything. She guided us with suggestions throughout our meal. The food was phenomenal! We started with stuffed mushrooms, stuffed with what you may ask, I don't even care they were the best I have ever had! The sauce they were in was a white creamy sauce that you would slap your mama for and it was second to none! We had fried jalapeños as well but we expected them to be stuffed but they were sliced and fried and served with another amazing sauce and also delicious! I had blackened shrimp and pasta, again the sauce was to die for. The shrimp were nice and big but I wasn't a fan but that's my fault, l'm not a big seafood lover but I have had shrimp where they didn't have that sea taste before but these did so I didn't fancy them. The pasta was like macaroni noodles which I had never seen before in this type of dish. My husband had the sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed veggies but we were already full because Emily had brought some delicious garlic toast points out and I was slathering them in the stuffed mushroom sauce. I decided to put my meal in a box to go because there was a bananas foster calling my name. holv molv it was to die for!! The view of the water was nice as I promptly gained weight within my stay

Some things were good but also some things were not worth the money. Crab claws were decently good. We liked the shrimp. My kid had a kids burger but the meat was half the size of the bun. $36 for a redfish fillet that was dry and overcooked. At least it had a little hollandaise sauce on it to help wet it. Fish is normally cooked to 145° but I would say my fillet was cooked to 200° or more. Desserts were good. Cheese grits were good. Fries were good. My asparagus wasn’t tender at all, pretty stringy but still edible. Cocktails were good. Also, we were a family with two parents, two grandparents, and two little kids on one check and they tagged that as a large group and auto added 20% tip to the bill. No worries as I tip that anyway but just make sure you pay attention for that so you don’t double tip. I just found it unusual and don’t consider that a “large party”.

first time at pier house last night, showed up an hour early at the same time as owner, she let us know we were early but offered to let us sit at the bar and get a few drinks in before the kitchen opened. So nice! Food was absolutely incredible, like exceptional. Finished off with the banana foster. 10/10 experience!

We went out to eat the other night and the food was okay, the server was okay the only reason why i gave a 3 star was because i dont like how they don’t mention they add a huge tip automatically to your bill wether the server was good or bad…my bill should’ve been like $50-$55 no…it was $76…

Beautiful place, great atmosphere. I enjoyed the shrimp basket and fries! The fries were a bit too salty for me. But the service was excellent. The owner is wonderful, so welcoming and treats you like family. I was on a gluten free and dairy free diet and they were able to prepare my food in a way that I could eat it! They are very experienced and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. So I want to support them even more!

The prices are reasonable for the atmosphere that it delivers. Made to order and in good time. I waited, maybe 8 minutes, for my food.

The staff were friendly & attentive. The food was ok.. We ordered oysters on the halfshell as appetizers at market prices & was VERY disappointed. There was so little meat to the oysters & was not worth the price. The adult beverages were good... Main course was forgettable. All in all, this is a typical south coastal eatery & a bit dated.

This place is truly a hidden-in-plain-sight gem. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. If you’re passing through Spanish Fort (or even if you’re not), you owe it to yourself to stop here. Outstanding food, genuine hospitality, and an experience that turns a quick stop into a highlight of your trip. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Excellent place to dine, especially on a Friday night! Crab dip is amazing, and so is the shrimp alfredo! Donerson music was there, phenomenal entertainment. (I hear he’s there most Friday nights) Emily was our waitress. She was very attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal, environment, or view. Will definitely be back in the future.

We went to Pier House off the Causeway for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It had a nice atmosphere, and our server was very attentive and kind. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and fried green tomatoes. Both were delicious, and we enjoyed them very much. I ordered the Pier Platter, and hubby ordered the Grouper Basket. I knew I would be asking for a take-away box which I usually do and have it for lunch for the next day! The food was delicious, and everything was very well cooked. We will be back. I highly recommend it.
