If you are anywhere near Hwy 43 give this spot a try. Good down home cooking going on in this hidden gem! I'm hooked (pun intended) on the fish which is seasoned and fried to perfection. My wife added some fried shrimp to her order which were seasoned and fried to perfection as well! Both fillet orders come with 2 sides. I had the side salad and fried squash! Best hidden spot!! Down home style cooking!! Super friendly and helpful! If you're passing, buy better stop, or you will regret it!! I travel a lot for work, and I love looking for American ma and pa restaurants to give back and help support them to stay open! Real food is made with pride and love.. something we all have forgotten about..give yo local restaurants, not the processed food chains, that have no idea what family, pride, and love are all about!!
The food here is so good, the fried green tomatoes are always fresh and taste amazing. The service is also great, everyone there is so nice. The cooks deserve some appreciation too with how good all of their food is and it’s always cooked perfectly.
