I've been gone away from here for over ten years. With my travels across this country, I would seek out Chinese food that could possibly come close to First House. I missed it. I craved it during two pregnancies and beyond.Upon coming back to this small town, it was my number one goal to go back and say hi to Wendy and get my grub on. There is only drive thru at this restaurant. The food was good. I enjoyed the orange chicken and my husband's happy fanning meal was just what he wanted. I was only disappointed in the won ton soup. It was very bland with no shallots.

I have eaten here once and it was very good takeout (only option) Chinese takeout. I ordered the Kung Pao Family Meal (consisting of Kung Pao Chicken, fried rice, hot and sour soup), plus 2 egg rolls. These items were all hot, fresh, and tasty. The lady working the window was super-nice and happy to help with my order. If you are in Talladega and want some tasty Chinese takeout, give this place a try.
