John is a very nice man. His price point is fair. We always scrape the pot with his scrumptious seafood!!
I just bought 3 containers of gumbo for 37.00. The roux was burnt ! And nothing in it just roux ! That is misleading! Horrible !

Absolute worst gumbo I've ever eaten and come across...tons of bones and watered down. Barely any seafood or vegetables and bought some on vacation in South Alabama. You guys should be ashamed and honestly give me a damn refund because that was pathetic on every level. It was being sold at a seafood shop and 100% not authentic

Worst gumbo I have ever had. Bought a couple of months ago, been in freezer. This gumbo lacks any flavor, minuscule amount of seafood and is basically a mixture of brown water. Would not recommend.

Amazing. Got the steamed shrimp plate. Well worth it. Perfectly cooked and fresh. Came with bread sausage and corn. Bread was fresh too
