Food was mediocre at best. The fries being hot and fresh were the best thing. The same can not be said about their sandwiches. The Philly was awful. What little meat that was in there was over cooked, unseasoned and dry. Bread was old and stale. Very disappointed. Especially since everyone else offers up so much praise on how great the phillys are here. Literally the worst Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had.

I really hate to give this review since I enjoy there food . But for proabl6 the last year I have ordered 2 fully load cheese steaks and every time but one I got both sandwiches with the same amount of meat . I weighed them and everything ! Not to mention tonight they were extremely light on the meat and I paid for one double meat again . The only time I got my sandwich correct is when I ordered from the owners daughter and told her beforehand of this issue I have had in the past . Someone's needs to step up and fix this. I pay for extra meat because I don't think enough meat comes on the sandwich to start with . But I don't mind paying extra if I actually get double meat . I will upload pics on a scale .

Been looking for a cheesesteak, and especially a chicken cheesesteak since I moved here. These are delicious, the bread, meat, cheese and I added mushrooms. Amazing and the battered onion rings a delicious side choice. Staff is super friendly and we will be back!!

Hidden gem in Mobile. Fantastic food if you are in the area. The place is a hole in the wall, but they easily have the best Philly cheesesteak in Mobile.
If you ever find yourself in the Theodore Dawes area do yourself a favor and stop on by to D Michaels, you will not be disappointed.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but they deserve it. I work next door at white rabbit and eat lunch here everyday. I absolutely LOVE their fries and they have the best ranch I’ve ever tasted. The Phillies and tenders are superb. The staff is always lively, NEVER forgets my ranch and they smile at me everytime I come in. I love it there.

I have had D’michaels once before and if I remember correctly I had a cheesesteak. I believe it was good so I decided to go back. This time I wanted to try the meatball parmigiana. I haven’t had a good meatball sandwich in ages it seems. When I called to order my food they told me that they were out of meatballs. I wasn’t too upset about that so I looked at the menu again and saw that they had a sausage parmigiana. It wasn’t what I originally wanted but we’ll see how it goes. I added fries and a drink I drove to D’michaels to pick up my food. When I got there my food was ready. When I got home I noticed there was a large number of fries with my order. That definitely was not a problem. Extra fries are always welcome. The sausage parmigiana was so delicious. It was Italian sausage but I wasn’t expecting the spicy kick to it. The spiciness wasn’t overwhelming though. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich. I want come back and try the meatball parmigiana.
This place might not look like much from the outside, but it’s a hidden gem. Hands down the best Philly Cheese Steak in the city!! Order one fully loaded and you won’t be disappointed. When I tell people about this place they always tell me afterwards, “I can’t believe we didn’t know about that place.” The older gentleman up front was extremely friendly. Sorry I didn’t take a picture I have been craving one of these for 3 days. I bet the guy thought I was starving.

Nasty looking establishment! Food is great if you like it to taste like a dirty flat top. They don't know how to cut vegetables. I really don't see how they are rated 4.6 stars oh I forgot we are in Theodore. My first and last time coming to this place. Save yourself go somewhere that takes pride in their food! This place does not.

The food was absolutely delicious, and even though they did forget to put our onion rings in our bag, they were more then happy to fix it.
Little hole in the wall that sells probably the best Philly cheese steak I've ever had, definitely need to use google maps or you'll drive right by this place. Employees were super nice too. Will be back
