It filled our needs: coffee, a light breakfast plus pecan pie. We were hungry after touring the gardens.

The food was reminiscent of low-end cafeteria fare—but sorta edible. The glass covering the food bar was so dusty I could write my name in it.

This place has potential, but it needs serious improvement. Offering higher quality “cafe” style drinks and better food could turn it around. Until then, it’s not a place I’d recommend or return to.

Food was good and there was a decent selection of items. We were in and out in a timely fashion and the kids liked the chicken tenders. A good experience if your hungry and have been waiting in the entrance line for a while. Don't forget the gift

this is the only place within @ 10 miles of bellingrath gardens, so try to eat somewhere before you come here. the cafe is cafeteria style where you get a tray and go through and tell the servers what you want. the rolls were at the end of the line so I didn't notice the flies on them until we had already gotten the rest of our food. the mashed potatoes and gravy had a burned/scorched taste and the ham was discolored like it had been freezer burned or was old/bad. the red beans and rice were excellent as well as the Mac n cheese. the servers were nice. pay cash or you will be charged 3-5% more for using a card.
