We visited the gardens at the height of the azalea blooming last week—it was Spectacular! And had heard good things about the cafe, so stopped in for lunch. It was leisurely and personable, and perfectly reminiscent of a Southern lunch in any small town. The tuna salad sandwich with tomato and lettuce, and the sweet tea were perfection, and the peach cobbler was to die for! Of course the surroundings were lovely. We also stopped by the well-stocked gift shop.
Food was good and there was a decent selection of items. We were in and out in a timely fashion and the kids liked the chicken tenders. A good experience if your hungry and have been waiting in the entrance line for a while. Don't forget the gift
Not much selection. Corn dogs were cold. Çatfish was good.
