I grabbed takeout to bring back to my hotel after being on the road for 11 hours. The staff (both the woman at the front and the sushi chef) were SO genuinely kind and accommodating. I really can’t express how lovely they were. The portion sizes are generous; I usually need two sushi rolls, but the Sumo roll alone was more than enough. Don’t be discouraged by the exterior—these people (and their sushi) made my long, grueling day so much brighter!
Do not be fooled by the exterior!
I searched for a place on Maps and was impressed by the photos. However, when I pulled up, I admit that I was underwhelmed and a bit nervous.
But, because we were tired of driving around, we gave it a shot. I’m so glad we did!
The food was absolutely amazing. The service was beyond reproach! This location will definitely be a local favorite from now on!

I love this place. No way to beat the quality of food at these prices. Hostess is very friendly and her accent is charming. Not the greatest ambiance, but more than made up for by the great food and service.
