Wonderful food and staff!
Service was top notch: attentive, proactive, and extremely nice and welcoming. The food was on point, NY strip cooked to a perfect medium, best catfish I've had in ages, and portion sizes that left us stuffed. Plus, Texas Roadhouse's bread and cinnamon butter can't hold a candle to Big Mike's bread and cinnamon butter!
The rooster cowboy chicken is delicious! The best part was our waitress, Cayley. Very attentive and helpful with app and meal orders! Most importantly, Cayley, never let our beer run empty!!

Big Mike's Steakhouse is a popular spot worth the stop in Thomasville. The steaks smell great from the parking lot and live up to the hype. The 16 oz. Rib Eye is perfect, and the 8 oz. is cooked right. The Big Mike (24oz) is very close to a legendary steak and is perfectly cooked every time. Steaks are top notch, very juicy with great flavor. The mushroom appetizer is really good, and oysters are a good choice when in season. Appetizers are always good. Sides like the baked potato are recommended, though fries are not that good. Bavarian Bread is served to start. Service is fast, outstanding, and top notch, with polite and efficient servers. The rustic, comfortable dining room is semi-lit. It is typically pretty loud, especially on a Friday. It gets busy, so go early or late or be prepared to wait. Great for any size group. Big Mikes is the best place to eat in Clarke County.
