I recently visited Southern Grounds restaurant and coffee shop in Thomasville, Alabama. I had known about it for some time as my wife and son had been encouraging me to go. I was initially hesitant because I use an oversized electric wheelchair and thought the space might be too small for it. Very friendly staff and quick wait times, perfect for a place to have lunch with someone or to grab a quick lunch! The coffee is good and they usually have a “panini of the week”. My favorite lunch panini to get is the gobbler. They also have breakfast: waffles, cinnamon rolls, omelets, breakfasts paninis, and parfaits!On another note, Bailey makes GREAT cakes/cupcakes!!

An absolute gem!!!! I can't rave enough on how cute this place is! Service is so friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Marilyn Monroe iced espresso beverage and The Yellowhammer (pimento cheese) sandwich. The pimento cheese was the best I've ever had! My order came out quickly. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend. Atmosphere was so peaceful and quaint. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.
