We had our work Thanksgiving lunch catered by Caddo. Green beans were straight from the can, no seasoning or washed off. The dressing was like a flavored cornbread mixture. I was a little disappointed in that. Ham was good, it had a very good taste.

Good home type cooking ???
Had the worst experience I’ve ever had there tonight. Got the baked chicken breast and it was so dry I couldn’t eat it, possibly left over from lunch. I asked for cheese with my broccoli twice and the cashier could not put her phone down long enough to get it, she also forgot my roll. The young lady getting the drinks ended up having to get the cheese for me. It was not that busy at the time we were there, but this young lady never asked if we needed refills or anything else. I’ve always enjoyed eating here but this was not a good experience at all, don’t think I will be back.
Absolutely perfect place for smaller family birthday get-togethers.

The closest thing I have ever had to my grandmother's home cooked meals. The white beans and cornbread were absolutely delicious.

I went to Caddo for the first time from Decatur, and after a pleasant meandering drive through back country roads, c/o Google Maps, Caddo Cafeteria lay on the left of an intersection. The place was larger than I expected and the decor more casual-upscale. I absolutly loved the food and atmosphere and I will definitely return.

First time trying Caddo cafeteria after only hearing about it for 15+ years. Made the drive out for lunch today. When you walk in, grab a tray, napkins and silverware. If you want dessert, there are traditional cake and pie slices available. Walking through the hot food line, they ask what you want and you pick whatever you want. I ordered chicken fingers, mashed potatoes, green beans and cornbread. I was absolutely shocked when I got to the register and the cashier said it was $6.96 and I was like, that's all? Super inexpensive hot meal. I was a little lost on where I needed to go for a drink/condiments, but a server did give directions. Food quality was nice - good old fashioned country buffet food. The restaurant building itself was on the older side. It was clean, but very worn. Will I go back? Yes. Definitely worth the money.

There was children screaming and yelling the entire time I was there. The mother thought it was cute. It was too late when I noticed all the other customers were in the far back of the restaurant. I left with a headache and very unpleasant experience.

We drive 42 miles (one way) on Friday to eat the fried fish. It's the best in the tennessee valley. Customer service is impeccable. Just friendly country folks. Give it a try. You won't regret it.
