Good, down-home country cooking at reasonable prices. This is cafeteria style dining, one of our favorites. Highly recommend!!!

First time here today (from Huntsville) and it was as an amazing experience! Food was hot and delicious! I’ve had stomach surgery so the “small plate” was the perfect size for me! Will be back here for sure!

Pot roast was okay. Mashed potatoes were unseasoned. Gravy was good and what made the potatoes. I didn’t get the ham but it looked dry.

This was my first time here. It's a little out-of-the- way and has cafeteria style service. You tell the servers what you want, and they put it on your plate. Portions were acceptable. Plenty of vegetarian or vegan selections. Mostly good country type cooking. I had turnip greens, boiled cabbage and okra with stewed tomatoes. My friend had catfish filets and pinto beans. Everything was tasty and without too much salt. RecommendedVegetarian options: Good country cooked vegetables without fat for flavor or meat in them.Dietary restrictions: Appeared to have food that meets any dietary restrictions.

First time visit (recommended by friends) after being in the area for a visit to Roden’s Surplus. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The food (chicken & dressing, baked ham, several vegetables) was very good. The food is plated for you from the buffet line with drinks being served at your table. The entire place was very clean.Just a very good “country food” place!Parking: Large amountWheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible

Very good food! I tried humming bird cake for the first time! The lights were soooo dim. So I would recommend if you go here to eat in the back. I didn’t really love the fried okra (which is normally one of my favs), but it wasn’t that bad, it was just off. One of the deal breakers for this place is the music selection.( hence a lost star) These songs would be extremely inappropriate for littles. Which I understand some restaurants play this kind of music, however this restaurant would appear to be a family friendly restaurant. So that was so disappointing. Wish this world wasn’t so cruel.Such profanity ?

Even during the tough Thanksgiving rush, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food is always great with a welcoming atmosphere. If you love country home cooking check them out!!
