Our go to place. Best Catfish I’ve ever had. My Mom lives in Texas and has never liked fish. But she always eats some Kathy’s Catfish when she visits. Yeah that’s how great it is. The vinegar slaw and hush puppies are ultimate compliments to the fish.
Drove by a couple days ago and stopped in. The place is very casual and very friendly. The catfish platter was very good: fried catfish, onion rings, hush puppies, and slaw. The slaw was different from what I've ever had and not to my taste, but everything else was very good.OTOH, my cardiologist may not have approved of all the fried food.Looking at the pics I wish I'd had the pecan pie.
We enjoyed a couple of small catfish platters, which were anything but small. The fish was fried perfectly and served piping hot. Our waitress was super nice. Hope to eat there again soon.
